Peter asks Jesus a question many of us have probably wondered: “Lord, how often should I forgive?”
Jesus’ answer reminds us that forgiveness is not something we keep score of. Just as God’s mercy toward us is abundant and freely given, we are called to extend that same mercy to one another.
Forgiveness is not always easy. It does not mean that hurt does not matter or that wrongs are simply forgotten. Rather, it invites us to loosen our hold on resentment and make room for healing, compassion, and peace.
This Sunday, may we remember the grace we have received — and ask God to help us offer that grace to others.
🙏 Lord, soften our hearts, help us to forgive, and teach us to live with the same mercy and compassion you so freely give to us. Amen.

This Sunday’s Gospel, Matthew 18:15–20, reminds us that being part of a community of faith is about more than simply gathering together. It is about how we care for one another — especially when relationships become difficult. Jesus calls us to approach conflict with honesty, compassion, patience and a genuine desire for reconciliation. Jesus leaves us with a beautiful promise: “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” — Matthew 18:20
What a comforting reminder that Christ is present whenever we gather in faith — in our worship, our conversations, our joys, our struggles, and our efforts to live together in love. As we gather this Sunday, may we pray for hearts that listen, words that heal, and the grace to see Christ in one another. ❤️

Following Jesus was never promised to be the easiest path. It is a journey that sometimes asks us to put aside our own plans, to choose compassion when it would be easier to turn away, to forgive when it is difficult, and to stand with others when doing so comes at a cost. Jesus reminds us that the things the world tells us to hold tightly — success, comfort, possessions and status — are not the things that ultimately give our lives meaning.
💛 We find life when we give love.
💛 We find purpose when we serve.
💛 We find hope when we trust.
💛 And we find Christ when we walk alongside one another.
As we gather this Sunday, may we have the courage to take up our cross — whatever that may look like in our own lives — and follow Jesus with faith, compassion and love.

This Sunday, we hear Jesus asks his disciples, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answers with a profound declaration of faith: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus reminds us that faith is not simply about knowing about Him, but about recognizing who He is and allowing that relationship to shape our lives. Like Peter, we are invited to proclaim our faith not only with our words, but through the way we love, serve, forgive, and care for one another.
As we gather together this Sunday, may we open our hearts to Christ and ask ourselves: Who is Jesus to me?

This Sunday, we hear the Gospel according to Matthew (15:10–20, 21–28), where Jesus reminds us that what truly matters is not what is on the outside, but what is in our hearts. We see an extraordinary example of faith, persistence and humility teaching us to not give up when faced with obstacles. Continue to trust in Jesus, believing in His mercy and compassion. Faith reminds us that God sees beyond our differences and welcomes those who come to Him with open and trusting hearts.
💛 May we have the courage to persevere in faith, the humility to recognize our need for God, and hearts that are open to His love and compassion.

Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid." — Matthew 14:27

Life often feels like a storm. We face uncertainty, worry, grief, and challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed. In this Sunday's Gospel, the disciples find themselves battling wind and waves when Jesus comes to them, walking across the water. Peter steps out of the boat in faith, but when he focuses on the storm instead of Christ, fear begins to pull him under. How often do we find ourselves doing the same?

Jesus doesn't wait for Peter to become stronger or braver. He reaches out His hand, lifts him up, and reminds him that faith grows as we keep our eyes on Him. No matter what storms you may be facing, Christ is present, offering peace, hope, and a steady hand. Even in life's roughest waters, we are never alone.

They all ate and were filled." – Matthew 14:20
When the crowds followed Jesus into a deserted place, the disciples saw only what was lacking: five loaves, two fish, and thousands of hungry people. Jesus saw something different. He took what was offered, blessed it, gave thanks, and shared it.
This Gospel reminds us that God works through ordinary people and ordinary gifts. A small act of kindness, a generous heart, a listening ear, or a simple prayer can become a blessing beyond what we imagine when placed in Christ's hands.

This Sunday, we hear Jesus share a series of short parables that reveal the wonder of God’s kingdom (Matthew 13:31–33, 44–52). From a tiny mustard seed that grows into a great tree, to hidden treasure and a pearl of great value.
Jesus reminds us that God’s love often begins in small ways, but grows quietly into something extraordinary, transforming hearts and lives beyond what we can imagine. Jesus invites us to seek what truly matters, to recognize the treasures God places before us, and to share the hope and joy of the Gospel with others.
