Praise be to God! We had a wonderful day for our churchyard cleanup. Many hands make for lighter work. We cleaned eaves troughs, trimmed the fence line, cut back the overgrown lilac hedge, weeded the flower beds, trimmed the walkway shrubs, swept the graves, raked, and bagged. Wow! Good thing we enjoyed a yummy lunch before we started šŸ˜ and we even had lemonade and water served to the workers in the yard! Thank you to all who helped, brought food, served drinks, cheered us on, and supervised the work! We are so blessed! šŸ™šŸ»šŸ˜Š

Emmanuel Anglican Church Spring Clean Up Day, this Sunday, May 24th after church (@ 11:30am). Do you have an hour or so of time to lend a hand? Emmanuel is the oldest church in town, sitting right on the corner of Mainstreet and the highway, one of the first sights to see entering our community. Our congregation is aging and we could a few extra hands for our big church yard and cemetery. If you are able to help out, please wear your work clothes and bring a rake if you have one. Free hot dog lunch included!
