It is a huge thing to choose someone to look after your child. Someone who might love and care for them just a fraction as much as you do, while you have to leave them. In choosing me, I believe that you have made the best choice! It is important to me to create a trusting open relationship with you,
so that together we can make the best choices for your child's day, together. To do this I feel t
hat it is important for you to know a little bit about me. The first thing you should know is that I am a Christian. It is not my desire to push my beliefs on others, but you should know that my belief is something that flows into my every day. When I am thankful for food, when I sing and when I need some patience. I have loved children from a very young age, I am amazed at their thought processes and intelligence. I am sure that having six sibling helped to foster that love. I grew up in a loving caring home where it was a safe place to explore the world around me and I was gently guided to make great decisions. My mother taught me at home from the fourth grade until the twelfth grade. I decided to pursue my love for young children and upon graduation from high school I went to Holland College and took a two year course in Early Childhood Care and Education. Following my graduation I started my own daycare and had a great year. My husband's studies brought us to New Brunswick where I worked in daycare for five years. I have gained a lot of experience and have had the privilege to work with a lot
of great kids, I have also had many children who are challenging which has only helped to increase my confidence and improve my practice. In 2011 I had a child of my own and was able to fulfill my dream of once again having my own daycare
I believe that as a parent you are your child's first and best teacher. You really know your child the best and that knowledge is crucial to a successful partnership. Please know that you are welcome to spend time with your child here or accompany us on outings. I love to sing, it is a very large part of my practice and if you spent a day here you would hear a made up song about almost everything. I also love to make children laugh and can get very silly in the process. It is my desire to provide a great, loving home environment. By offering a small group size your child will get the one on one attention they deserve without being lost in a large group. The best part is that they get to feel like they are at home! You will still get the advantages that a larger facility usually provides such as learning activities, outdoor play time, peer interactions and high standards of cleanliness.
