On Saturday, September 12, Council 1310 invites one and all to the 42nd edition of the Papal Site Mass at Magnetic Hill.

The Mass will be celebrated by his Grace, Archbishop Desrochers at 11:00. The Mass will be preceded by a bilingual Rosary. After the Mass, barbecued hot dogs and water will be provided, courtesy of Council 1310.

You are invited to bring you own lawn chairs to the Papal Site for your comfort. In the event of rain, the Mass will be moved the Cathedral, with the same schedule. All are welcome to this beautiful event!

Join Us for an Evening of Worship

On the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception invites you to an evening of prayer, worship, and fellowship.

Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Christian Riesbeck, CC, at 7:00 p.m., followed by a Holy Hour with worship and intercessory prayer led by the Priests of the Companions of the Cross at 8:00 p.m.

Butterfly Garden at St Anthony’s Cemetery

There was a special blessing today of a memorial garden in the cemetery dedicated to remembering and memorializing pregnancy, infant and child loss memory of all unborn children. The place has been set up for quiet, peaceful prayer and reflection. People are welcome to drop by and place a butterfly near the memorial in special memory.

Fr Maria blessed the setting and ventured around the entire cemetery blessed all the graves. He was joined by a number of the Council members were in attendance along with several other parishioners.

Special thanks to K of C Council No. 1942 who made the initial donation of the monument as well as the members and crew of the Parish Cemetery headed by Ron for setting up this special place of reflection.

A wonderful day for a Council get together on the past weekend! The weather was fabulous with a great turnout of members and their families. Special thanks to Br David for hosting the gathering and to Diane wife of Br Gary for all the happy photos.
