The odds of a World Series run might be slim right now, but faith can move mountains!

If you live here, you've heard our bells go off at 4:07 in the afternoon and wondered what on earth is happening over at the church.

In Europe they ring on a schedule. Every fifteen minutes of the hour, all day, plus services. You could set your watch by them.

Ours don't work like that.

Here in Fort Smith, when the bells ring, it usually means one thing. We're about to start praying.
That's the whole message. Somebody is inside, about to pray, and the bell is how we say it out loud. If you hear it, you're being prayed for. And if you've got a minute, stop where you are and say one yourself.

So why the random times? Sometimes we're just late to prayers.

But most of the time, it's because Samuel figured out how to ring the bell on his own.
