Following the 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday, September 12th, all parishioners, families, and friends are invited to stay for the Installation of Officers Ceremony. ✝️⛪🛡️
This solemn and meaningful ritual marks the beginning of a new fraternal year and recognizes and blesses the men who will serve our council in the coming year.👨🏻👨🏻‍🦰👨🏼‍🦳👴🏼
We look forward to sharing this moment with you.

Our council was proud to support the Knights of Columbus ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) program, which provides essential help to pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes serving women, new mothers, and their babies. This year, our support went directly to Marillac Place, a vital local home for mothers and children.
We received a letter from the Supreme Knight thanking us for our participation, along with a cheque to top up our contribution.
Together, we continue to stand for life and support families in need.

📣 Council Update: Our general meeting originally scheduled for Thursday September 17th has been moved to
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 24th due to Garden Party setup taking place on the 17th.👨🏻👴🏻👨🏻‍🦰👨🏻‍🦳
This will be our Kick‑Off BBQ General Meeting —
fellowship at 6:30 PM, meeting at 7:30 PM. 🍔🌭
Please bring a small salad or small dessert to share.🥗🍰

As students return, eager to learn, Knights begin a new fraternal year — renewing their commitment to faith, leadership, and service.👨🏻‍🎓
Both seasons celebrate growth, community, and purpose: one shaping minds, the other shaping hearts. 🏫💞
Each reminds us that learning and serving go hand in hand. 🫶🏻

#1: RECEIVING COMMUNION POORLY can feel like a painful disconnect, because the Eucharist is the heart of Catholic worship, and seeing it approached without reverence stings. 💘
#2: LACK OF PARTICIPATION—silent responses, no singing, disengaged posture—makes the liturgy feel like a one‑sided effort, when it’s meant to be the prayer of the whole community. 🤐
#3: ARRIVING LATE disrupts the rhythm of worship and signals that the Mass is something to fit in rather than something to center life around.🕰️🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♀️
#4: LEAVING EARLY can feel like walking out on Christ Himself, especially when it happens right after Communion, as though the encounter were merely transactional.🚶🏻‍♀️‍➡️🚶🏻‍♂️‍➡️
Let us pray that our lives may reveal a deeper love for Christ, and that we may truly honour the sacred mystery we celebrate.
