💡This past Sunday, Pastor Nathan prompted us to think about what it would look like for us to say: “God said to do this _(Fill in the blank)_, and I did it.” The passage of focus was Genesis 6-9, and Matthew 24:36-51, both of which hold accounts of Noah’s story, where you saw God telling Noah what to do and Noah stepping out in faith and doing it. Additionally, we were challenged that someone living out true discipleship is evident to those around them. You do not need to have the superpower of mind control to determine whether or not they are a Christian. Rather, it can be seen through observing their life that they are a disciple of Christ, as they become more and more like Him.

⬆️Our UP week challenge to you is to fill in the blank in the following sentence. “God is calling me to __________” .... and then do it. Go forward as a disciple of Christ and experience what you are being called UP into.

⬆️ Our UP week challenge to you is to read through Genesis 32:22-32 and see what traits of God stand out to you! In what way has this encounter Jacob had surprised you or reminded you of who God is?

💡Pastor Kevin left us with the challenge to take a moment before the busyness of the fall and say: “Lord, I am willing to follow where you lead me, and I trust you to give me what I need.” Meditate on that statement and take comfort in the fact that God is not calling you into a place He himself will not lead you through.

Staff Shoutout!!! 📣 Dave joined the PAC team in 2018. Dave oversees our finance, operations, and facilities at PAC. If there is an event going on you can almost always bet that Dave will be there faithfully serving! Dave loves the invitational and formational nature of the Church and is passionate about facilitating opportunities for people to connect with God and each other. When he is not working, you can usually find Dave coaching sports at Westpark or in the community.

💡 This Sunday as a congregation we got to participate in the ordination service of Pastors Lydia, Chris, and Jake! (Now Reverends!) They left us with the challenge to consider the gifts among our church body, and recognize where the Holy Spirit is working to build into our communities.

It is an UP week where we orient our hearts towards God! Our challenge for you this week is to ask God to show you the gifts He has given you, and how you can use them to further His kingdom!
