St. Andrew's lost one of the patriarchs of our church this past week. In this time of great sorrow our thoughts and prayers are with Heather, Rory, Kirsty and family. May we take comfort in the fact that Grant is in heaven with God.

A group of volunteers from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Lancaster & Martintown met recently to put together Blessings Bags for the homeless in our community supporting The Hands & Feet of Jesus Ministry led by Rev. Ian & Jane MacMillan.

We did some sorting today to prepare for assembly of our Blessings Bags. The congregations of St. Andrew's Lancaster and Martintown have been collecting items over the past month to put into Blessings Bags which will be handed out to the homeless in our area. The churches will come together Sunday, Jan. 11th at 2 pm in Martintown to assemble the bags. We could use a few more winter gloves and hats. God's Love in Action.
