So thankful to have the support of our community members and local businesses!

Thank you, Loblaws for your ongoing provision of a $100 gift card each week which Hope Chapel uses towards our regular grocery shop.

It may interest you to know that 30% of Hope Chapel's operating budget is used to directly support the community through our high school lunch program, community cupboard, community potlucks, cookie baking with students for community service hours toward graduating, plus. That's just over $70,000 that is spent directly on food and other consumables...NOT staffing and not maintaining the building. Finances for maintaining staffing and the building are also equally necessary to ensure that Hope Chapel can serve as a Centre of Community Care...supporting both community members and other like-minded profits (MSK - Mobile Soup Kitchen, Journey Community Church Youth Ministries and Youth Unlimited|YFC) to do so as well.

Surprise dad with some delicious cookie dough. Order by Friday, June 12th to get your dough in time for Father's Day.

FINAL order date for this year's Share the Dough is Monday, June 15th for pick-up during the week of June 22-24! That means less than two weeks left to order cookie dough to help support Hope Chapel as we continue to raise funds to meet this year's needed $150,000. We need to raise $75,000 by the end of July so that we can commit to running the first semester of the 2026-27 school year. Help us continue to support our community.

Our fundraising for 2026 is off to a good start but we've got a way to go to ensure our ability to continue being a centre of community care. We have raised over $14,000, but still have $60,000 to go before the end of July in order to commit to the fall semester of the 2026-27 school year. If you would like to see Hope Chapel continue, please consider how you could provide a one-time donation or become a monthly sponsor. ☺

You're invited!

As the weather turns warmer, two things come to mind...summer vacation and BBQ! Hope Chapel would like to invite interested community members and our indispensable volunteers who have worked so hard over this past year to come and enjoy an End of School BBQ Potluck...guests bring the sides and/or desserts, Hope Chapel will provide the hotdogs and hamburgers. RSVP by June 19, bring a chair and enjoy some good old fashioned hospitality! BBQ begins at 11:30am (not pm...sorry for the error!)

Hope Chapel's Summer Clothing Giveaway runs all this week for high school students during the lunch hour and will be opened to the community on Friday, May 22nd from 2:30-5pm. What you see in the picture is just a fraction of what is available...don't go shopping for clothing until you've checked out this free event!
