Our Lady of the Rosary Diocesan Shrine

Our Lady of the Rosary Diocesan Shrine Located at St. Patrick's Church & Shrine Merlin
within the Catholic Diocese of London ON. Est. 1998. Served by the Rosarian Fathers. Mary’s, Ontario, since 1954.

The Shrine is open all year for personal prayers and meditations. The Rosarian priests are available at the Shrine for confession and spiritual direction. On Shrine Days Holy Mass is celebrated in the center of the Rosary Trail. Shrine Days are celebrated July 2, 13, 16, August 13-22, and September 12, 13, 14 and 15. Thanks to many donations, dedication of hours of work and prayer of numerous volu

nteers, what began as “Our Lady’s Garden” has now become the home to Our Lady of the Rosary London Diocesan Shrine. The original Diocesan Shrine was located in St. Bishop Sherlock then moved the site to St. Patrick’s Church in Merlin in 1998. The Rosary Trail has been created in the shape of a rosary and includes all twenty mysteries. The Saints Trail leads you through the lives of over 90 saints. The Stations of the Cross Trail leads you to the Pieta statue. The Marian Dogmas & Approved Apparitions Trail represents some of the locations in the world that the Church officially recognizes as places where Our Lady has appeared. All that you see here at the Shrine, including the numerous gardens, are maintained by volunteers.

We are delighted to share that many new projects are currently underway at our Shrine. A new shed is being constructed, new flower gardens are being developed, and several other improvements are being made to enhance the beauty and spiritual atmosphere of this sacred place.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Board of Directors for their guidance and support, and to all our dedicated volunteers who generously give their time and talents. A special word of thanks goes to Mishal and his team for their hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm in helping these projects move forward.
May God bless each one of you abundantly for your generosity and service.
We kindly ask for your continued prayers and support as we work together to make the Shrine an even more welcoming and inspiring place for all who visit.

Today, 9th May 2026, our first Shrine Cleanup Day turned out to be a great success. I sincerely thank each and every one of you for your tremendous support, generous contribution, and dedicated participation. Your hard work, unity, and spirit of service have helped make our Shrine more beautiful, prayerful, and welcoming for everyone.
May God bless you abundantly for your kindness, sacrifice, and love for our Shrine community. Let us continue to work together with the same enthusiasm and faith in all our future endeavors.
