What a significant day at Worship in the Park this past Saturday. 🤍

We gathered as one body of Christ—setting aside denominations and differences to simply lift up the name of Jesus together.

There was worship, prayer, a prayer tent where people were able to receive and be prayed over, conversations, connection, and moments we won’t soon forget.

And six people took the incredible step of being baptized! 🙌🏼🌊

We’re so grateful for what God did in and through this gathering. What a beautiful picture of the Church coming together, united in Jesus and hungry for His presence.

This is bigger than a single church, a denomination, or an event. We are one body. One family. One Jesus.

What a day. What a privilege. What a beginning.

Bring your friends, your family, a blanket or lawn chair, and come enjoy a day of worship in the park.

There is something special about believers gathering together, lifting one voice in praise, and declaring the goodness of God. Whether you can join us for an hour or spend the whole day, we’d love to worship alongside you.

Let’s gather as one Body, encourage one another, and lift high the name of Jesus. We can’t wait to see you there!

This Sunday, August 2, we won’t be gathering for our regular church service.

Instead, we’re taking this opportunity to BE the Church.

Gather with family or friends. Invite someone over for a meal. Encourage a neighbor. Spend time in prayer. Serve someone in need. Share the hope of Jesus wherever He leads you.

The Church has never been just a building or a Sunday gathering…it’s the people of God living on mission every day.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” — Hebrews 10:24

We’ll see you again the following Sunday. Until then, let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city. ❤️

Today wasn’t about performance. It was about presence. And His presence changes everything.

☀️ Summer is here, and we’re embracing a simpler rhythm together.

Throughout the summer, we’ll be gathering in the atrium for our Sunday services as we intentionally simplify things for the season.

While the space may look a little different, our heart remains the same—to gather in God’s presence, worship together, encourage one another, and grow through His Word.

We’re looking forward to a summer filled with meaningful worship, genuine community, and time together as our church family. See you Sunday! 💛

Neighbour Day & Stampede Breakfast: A Day of Community, Connection & Kingdom Impact 🤠🥞

Life Connection Church’s first-ever Neighbour Day & Stampede Breakfast was a wonderful success, bringing together our church family and community for a morning of hospitality, friendship, and the love of Christ in action.

Dozens of neighbours enjoyed a complimentary pancake breakfast, family games, face painting, children’s activities, and meaningful conversations. From the moment guests arrived, they were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and genuine community.

One of the greatest highlights was the incredible unity of our volunteers. From setup and cooking to serving, games, cleanup, and every behind-the-scenes detail, each person served with excellence and joy. Together, you created an atmosphere where people felt seen, loved, and valued.

The impact went far beyond breakfast. New friendships were formed, seeds of faith were planted, and most importantly, one person gave their life to Jesus Christ. While we served pancakes, God was changing lives.

Thank you to every volunteer who gave your time, energy, and gifts to make this day possible. Your servant-hearted love turned a simple community breakfast into a powerful expression of God’s heart.

As we celebrate all God has done, we’re excited for the seeds planted in our community and look forward with anticipation to what He will continue to do.

That’s a wrap! ❤️🎉

What an incredible day! From the smiles on children’s faces as they explored the fire truck and met our amazing firefighters, to stacks of delicious pancakes, laughter echoing through the family games, face painting, music, and neighbours connecting together—we truly believe it was a day to remember.

Thank you to everyone to braved the rainy weather today. We truly loved meeting and connecting with you all!

But none of this would have been possible without our amazing volunteers.

From the early morning setup to cooking, serving, welcoming guests, running games, cleaning up, and doing countless things behind the scenes, you poured out your time, energy, and love to bless our community. Your servant hearts created a place where families could simply enjoy being together.

Thank you for every pancake flipped, every table set, every smile shared, every game played, and every act of kindness. You made this event possible, and we are so incredibly grateful for each one of you.

Thank you as well to the Calgary Fire Department for taking the time to stop by and make the day even more memorable for so many families!

Our hearts are full, and we already can’t wait to do it all again next year. ❤️
