AT WHAT POINT DOES "COINCIDENCE" STOP MAKING SENSE?

For years, critics claimed King David was nothing more than a legend.

After all, outside the Bible there was no archaeological evidence that he had ever existed. Many skeptics compared him to figures like King Arthur—a famous character, but not necessarily a real historical king.

Then in 1993, archaeologists made a remarkable discovery in northern Israel.

They uncovered an ancient stone inscription known as the Tel Dan Stele.

Written by one of Israel's enemies, the inscription contains the phrase:

"House of David."

That might not sound like much at first, but it was a big deal.

Ancient kingdoms didn't name royal dynasties after fictional characters. The phrase "House of David" refers to a recognized royal line descended from a real king named David.

Suddenly, a man many claimed never existed appeared in the archaeological record.

The Bible had been saying it all along...
And this remind us of something important:

Again and again, when archaeology has been able to test the Bible's historical details, the evidence often points toward its reliability—not away from it.

How many times does the Bible need to be right before people start taking its claims seriously?
