Wanted: Supervision of Children

We are a small community church, composed of 4-6 families on any given Sunday. We meet in homes throughout Brant County and are looking to hire 1-2 students to supervise 6-12 children (ages 2-12) during the adult discussion. Parents will be present in the home, though in a separate area as the children.

Hours will usually be between 9:30 and 11:30 AM. The supervisor is not required to provide programming or play equipment, though they are welcome to. Payment begins at minimum wage. Please apply only if you can assure consistent dependability.

JOIN US tomorrow morning for a pool party at the Spicers. Yes, on Sunday morning at 10:30... for a pool party :) We'll be ordering pizza and celebrate communion over this shared meal.

Not sure if you've heard, but we're on a mission to simplify church, but that often involves expanding our idea of what church even *is* to begin with. Last week we began to radically shift our approach to Sundays-- we met at the Burford park! We finally began meeting in-person (hurray!) after being on Zoom since January! From here on out, our gatherings are going to be (even more!) informal, recognizing that church is more about who you're with than where you're gathering.

So, if our relationships with one another are that important, we need to structure our church in a way that recognizes and prioritizes that. We can't say that relationships, community, and "fellowship" matter, and then have our PRIME TIME meeting together be in a movie-theatre like experience sitting next to one another, but never really engaging.

Our Sunday mornings are family-friendly and geared toward relationship development among one another. You can expect a loosely structured morning, discussing the five chapters of our weekly New Testament reading (2 Corinthians 4-8 tomorrow!), but other than that, enjoying time together in person.

Kids can expect classic field games such as Duck, Duck Goose, Tag, Red Light/Green Light, etc.

We are getting too many RSVPs for TONIGHT and don't want to turn anyone down!

We've decided to extend the night and split into two crews.
8:00-9:30 pm --> 11-14 year olds ((FULL))
9:30-11:00 pm --> 15+ ((FULL))

It's not too late to RSVP!

We are going to have a BLAST with Kick the Can, Capture the Flag, Manhunt and all those fun classics tomorrow night. Please RSVP if you'd like your kids to participate 🙂

Yes, we realize it'll be a wet night thanks to the rain all day today, but we are still planning a fun night of games!
