We’re thrilled to welcome Sage Hills Evangelical Free Church in Ashcroft, British Columbia as our newest Award Centre!

In a close-knit community of just over 1,600 people, Sage Hills is opening its doors to all youth aged 14–24 who want to take part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. The church will serve as an Open Award Centre, offering every young person in the community, whether in public school or learning at home, a chance to set goals, explore new interests, and grow through Service, Skill development, Physical Recreation, and Adventure.

Leaders Kandi-Lee and Sara first discovered the Award while abroad (in Jamaica and Malaysia!) and are excited to see how it can bring structure, support, and opportunity to young people in their community.

We can’t wait to see the impact this new partnership will have in Ashcroft!
