Sartuday 23 May 2026
This was a Day of Football, Fellowship & Family Spirit in Tsetsebjwe Village.
What happened on that pitch in Tsetsebjwe wasn’t just 90 minutes of football. It was a living picture of what happens when competition meets Christ-like character.
*The Build-Up
The atmosphere was super charcged as PLC FLAMES FC of the Prophetic Liberation Church from Tsetsebjwe village took their place on home soil-(Dipela football grounds)faces painted with determination and jerseys burning with the fire of their name. Across from them stood NYOWA MOKGACHA FC from Mathathane village , proud, focused, and ready to give everything they had. Two teams. One field. But from the first handshake, you could tell this was different.
*The Match Highlights
From kickoff, the pace was relentless. Both Teams came out sharp, their midfield linking passes like they’d been playing together for years. NYOWA MOKGACHA FC then set the net ablaze.
Tackles were hard but clean. Every goal attempt was met with applause from both sides. And when the final whistle blew, the scoreline mattered less than the effort left on that field. Both teams had given it all – sweat, skill, and heart.
*More Than a Match:
A Bond of Brotherhood-
Here’s what stood out most: the peace. No angry words, no rough play, just mutual respect from the first whistle to the last. You saw it in the way players helped each other up after a tackle. You heard it in the encouragement shouted across team lines.
Commitment was written all over their faces – not just to win, but to play with integrity. And love That was in the smiles, the jokes shared at water breaks, the way opponents became brothers before our eyes.
This was not just a match. This was bo***ge broken and friendship forged. In Tsetsebjwe, football became a bridge that reminded us we’re one community, one family.
The match ended with
NYOWA MOKGACHA fc 6:2 PLC FLAMES FC
*The Third Half:
Hospitality in Action
And the spirit didn’t end on the pitch. As soon as the game ended, the Prophetic Liberation Church Ladies of Hospitality stepped in like angels on duty. Pots were steaming, tables were set, and the aroma of home-cooked meals filled the air.
Both teams, tired but smiling, sat down together to share food, laughter, and stories. No jerseys, no sides – just young men breaking bread as brothers. That moment said everything: we play hard against each other, but we eat together as one.
*Final Word
To PLC FLAMES FC and NYOWA MOKGACHA FC – thank you. Thank you for showing Tsetsebjwe Village what true sportsmanship looks like. You reminded us that sport is at its best when it builds people up, not tears them down.
To the Ladies of Hospitality – your service was the perfect finish. You turned a football field into a family table.
This wasn’t just a game. It was peace in action, commitment on display, and love that will echo in Tsetsebjwe long after the goals are forgotten.
Here’s to more matches like this. Here’s to more bonds like this. 🔥⚽🤝
