POWER OVER SIN

(Romans 7:19-20) For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Many people are still struggling with one negative addictions. They have been caged by sin that they have given up their hope on repentance. Though they really want to be liberated from the prison of sin but the power of sin keeps holding them bound. On many occasions they have even sworn to God to kill them if they ever indulge in that sin that is ravaging them, yet they unconsciously go back to commit the same sin.

The power of sin cannot be underestimated. It is Satan's powerful tool to pin down a man in the terrain of carnality. Man's quest for spiritual depth is impeded when sin is at work in his life. Sin ruptures the relationship between earthly men and celestial entities. Effective communication between a man and heavenly dwellers are drastically distorted on the channel of sin. Satan through the power of sin at work in the life of a man can destroy the man's glorious destiny.

Beloved, are you still struggling to overcome any sinful habit? I have a good news for you, Jesus is the answer and the escape route from the terrain of sin. Jesus is the end of discussion to sin. He is the permanent cure for sin (1 John 3:9). Jesus through His activities on the cross paid off the debt of sin on our behalf. All that is required of men in order to enjoy the dividends of this glorious immunity over sin is to genuinely accept Christ. The truth is that you cannot overcome sin by your own will or your own wisdom. Even Apostle Paul attested that he delved into the things he ought not to do because of the power of sin at work in his life when he was without Christ (Romans 7:19-20).

Any man who comes to Christ has succeeded in liberating himself from the heinous power of sin. The backbone of condemnation brought upon you by sin is drastically nullified when you come to Christ (Romans 8:1-2). Genuinely accepting Christ births new era in your life. The old nature of sin is permanently crucified on the cross when you genuinely accept Christ. Jesus is the only personality that have the capacity to terminate the power of sin at work in the life of a man. Beloved, always remember that Jesus is the only escape route to those struggling with sin. Come genuinely to Christ today and your addiction to sin will be permanently put to an end. Shalom!

Message Tittle- Desire It, Miracles Will Follow You
Scripture Reference- Psalm 37:3-7

The Bible says trust in the Lord and do good, delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desire of your heart. To desire means good will, or good purpose from within the purity of your heart, it is to acknowledge that you need a certain thing to be established in your life; eg marriage, business, a house, healing, and financial favor. For whatever it is you desire the angels of God shall design!!

You ought to focus and pursue your desire, believe and cultivate that which you desire, for God does not bless an envious or jealous person, He takes no interest in someone who is greedy, who is confused or competitive, for if you do not desire it first in your heart it shall never be in your house.

A focused man is one with a diary of petitions and follows it up by prayer to God, and miracles are sure to follow, for by having a clear vision and focus you are able to attain the following;

1) Desire Eliminates Confusion
King Solomon desired to be wise, and he did not think twice about it, therefore God did not withhold a single miracle or blessing from him.

2) Confidence Builder
You build up your faith when you name your desires, and your expectations will never be cut off, for you are not intimidated by those who seem to be ahead of you.

3) Eliminates Envy And Jealousy
Any man who compares himself with the other is a fool, trying to kill of someone else's vision and focus will not make your miracle come quicker.

4)When Your Answers Come You Will Believe God For Greater Things
When your heart is set on God's word and promise your trust in Him shall be elevated just as it was the case with Apostle Paul.

LIVE ETERNITY DRIVEN LIFE (1)

(1 Corinthians 15:19) If our hope is only in this world, we are people most miserable

Life is a journey. You will certainly arrive someday. When you arrive, where will you spend eternity? It is heaven or hell? The choice is yours. Your destination after this life is premise on whether you accept and acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, which invariably dictates and influences your lifestyle, action, behavior, character and conduct.

It will be monumental disaster and colossal failure that you are always in church, giving your offerings and tithes, sowing seeds and engaging in kingdom service, and after all these, you still went to spend eternity in hell due to careless and pretentious lifestyle. You cannot be a Christian in the morning and a clubber at night and escape hell. If you are not going to heaven, there is no need wasting your time in the Church. It will be highly regrettable if satan ask you “So you later came here?

Child of God, I want you to be heavenly conscious. If heaven is not the destination of anyone close to you disconnect from them, even if they are your best friends or you met them in Church. Somebody going to Gaborone and the one going to Ramotswa, do not board the same bus. People going to different places do not board the same bus. Friendship is not by force, but by choice. Do not allow friends and busybodies to discourage you from serving God the way you should. You will regret your eternity if people you met in church are the ones that took you to hell. Disconnect from any ungodly relationship.

Beloved, be very careful how you live your life. Heavenly race requires absolute discipline and determination. I know there are issues challenging you. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you can surmount any obstacle. It takes the grace of God, discipline and determination to live eternity driven life. Live a purpose eternity driven life.

Meditation: It will be monumental loss and colossal failure that you are always in church, giving your offerings and tithes, sowing seeds and engaging in kingdom service, and after all these, you still went to spend eternity in hell

SEPARATE YOURSELF

(2 Corinthians 6:17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you…

Separation is the act of separating or the condition of being separated. It is a place or situation where division occurs. To be successful in life, you are to consecrate yourself and separate yourself from ungodly entanglements. You are to continue to grow in the knowledge and power of the Lord. It is of paramount importance that you put away from yourself, anything which reminds you of the world and causes you to lust after the dictates of the flesh. God said to Abraham, “…Get thee out of thy country, and from by kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee” (Genesis 12:1). It was when Lot separated from Abraham that God spoke to him and gave him the blueprint of his life (Genesis 13:14)

It is very important for you to separate yourself because your adversary is not happy about your success, he will do anything and use anyone to distract you. The devil will use friends, and even the members of your family to distract you with things that are totally unprofitable to your spirit man.

You must separate yourself and be in the spirit because; a little chat or gist can take you off balance if you are not purposeful in your moment of separation. Sometimes, the very day you decide to separate yourself is the day someone will be sent by the devil to provoke you. If you are not guarded at such a time, you will get angry, blow your top, start shouting and then grieve the Holy Spirit. That is why you must separate yourself. Separating yourself also means making yourself less available for mortal engagements but being a full participant of spiritual activities.

You must separate yourself because God takes the time you have set aside to seek His face seriously. The proper thing to do is to expect an encounter. May God not come to give you an encounter and then find you unprepared for Him in the name of Jesus Christ.

SPIRITUAL DESPERATION

(Isaiah 62:6-7)I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth

Spiritual desperation is putting principle base pressure on God’s promises for God to deliver exactly as He promised and at the right time. It is when you put pressure on God that it becomes His pleasure to do it. Spiritual desperation is reacting by declaration and by taking action that tells God it is the set time to favour you. The Scriptures says declare that thou might be justified (Isaiah 43:26).

I want you to ponder on what our opening text says. It says that “those that make mention of the Lord should give him no rest”. Beloved, that is spiritual desperation. When a man lacks spiritual desperation, his prophecy and his blessings can be delayed. Of what use is it to get married at 70years or to get your car at 90years of age? To make a difference, you have to be spiritually desperate.

Spiritual desperation provokes to search out the things which are met for your honor: it is the glory of God to conceal a thing but it is honor of kings to search them out (Proverb 25:2). Only spiritual desperation can drive you to search. It is a sign post to the season that you are about to enter; because it causes you to want to make effort, until you make effort God does not produce effect. It also provokes divine remembrance: divine remembrance is sustained by spiritual desperation because it drives you to fast and pray. It induces you to put divinity unto remembrance.

Child of God, you need spiritual desperation if you want to move to a higher level in life. Until you are spiritually desperate, you cannot dispel the forces of darkness or the enemies that had vowed to keep you on one spot and swallowed your destiny success and glory. To lack spiritual desperation is an indication that you are not destined for greatness.

Meditation: Until you are spiritually desperate, you cannot dispel the forces of darkness or the enemies that had vowed to keep you on one spot.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE (2)

(2 Corinthians 12:9) My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness…

Beloved, if you want to do all that God has called you to do so that He gets the glory and you get the joy, then it starts with you taking responsibility for your life. There comes a point in time when you take responsibility for your own life. That time is now. No more can you blame your parents, your teachers, or lack of opportunities, for who you are or who you are becoming. Too often people allow the past circumstances to determine the future outcome. The only power that your past has over your future is the power that you give it.

God has great plans for your future so quit making excuses as to why or how you cannot get there. Take responsibility for the person you are today and trust that God will provide you with all you need to become the person He is calling you to be. Beloved, choose to take responsibility for your life and trust that God will turn your weakness into strength for His glory and for your joy. Your weaknesses are simply opportunities for God to reveal His grace in your life.

Beloved, know who you want to be. A successful and happy life require a plan, you need to know the person you wish to be and why it is important to you, a clear purpose and value will help priorities and guild the actions you take in life. Know what you want from life. This cause you to set effective goal which drive you to want take risk and responsibility to pursue them in under to be close to the life want. Be honest with yourself. It causes you to give up on all your excuses, the old stories that you pass of as a fact of life that had hindered you from trying to make the necessary change.

Meditation: Until you take responsibility in life your productivity is not in view.

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LIFE (1)

(John 5:5-7) And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity for thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith will thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, sir I have no man when the water is trouble to put me into the pool…

Many people have crippled their ability to better and improve their life. This is because they had refused to take responsibility for their life. They like blaming someone else for their predicaments. Some will blame their parents for giving birth to them, others will blame their uncles and step mothers. Even some will blame either their church or their pastors. They do not want to take responsibility for their lives. Child of God, I want you to know in the first place that no man is responsible for you or your life, no man even your parents owe you anything. Some people blame the governments, their parents, uncles, aunties and even their pastor as the reason why their life is not making progress. The dream you built upon someone else other than yourself to succeed, without you taking responsibility will yet be a dream and a mirage, it can never become a reality.

Stop blaming others for anything that happens to you. No matter what happens to you, have an obligation to pay the price yourself and improve your life. Assume both spiritual and physical responsibility for the consequences of your actions. The things that limit men are more internal than external. The problem with some believers is that they celebrate spirituality and forget to think. It is the combination of a man’s spirituality and mentality that gives him advantage over others.

Beloved, until you take responsibility, your productivity in life is not in view. Many are full of one excuse or the other why they don’t have a job, money, shelter and cannot even afford a meal, they may even prefer to beg than take responsibility for their life. Your success and failure in life is 90% caused by you than others, so wake up and chart the cause of your life and effect the change you want.

Meditation: If you refuse to take responsibility for your life, you will end up living another man’s dream.

Message Tittle- The Major Weapons Of Breakthrough
Scripture Reference- Isiah 58:3-11

The Bible says, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity, to the obedience of Christ. There are a number of weapons that God has availed for every believer to use as so to gain breakthrough, it could be the word of God, anointing oil, the blood of Jesus, it could also be faith, but amongst them all there is one weapon that is mightier than the above mentioned.
namely being;

1) FASTING
This is a willful refrainment from food and drink, or a voluntary abstinence from the usual norm of giving into the desires of your flesh, fasting is to afflict your soul for spiritual matters. Through fasting you torture and swallow every enemy there is that stands in the way of your breakthrough, fasting and prayer destroys and levels every mountain before you, it deals with wickedness and weakness of the flesh.

Fasting allows your spirit to dominate your environment, as well as to pick the signal of what is going on around you, during fasting and prayer, you break the chains of bo***ge, you reverse the irreversible, you also become merciful and kind.

2) SACRIFICIAL GIVING
Hannah prayed fervently to the Lord, she said "for this child I prayed, and the Lord has given me my petition which I asked of Him", therefore Hannah gave her only child into the service of the Lord, as a result God blessed her with seven more, Dorcus was a woman who gave and blessed the widows, at the time of her death the heavens remembered all her good deeds, her giving caused the Lord to resurrect her from the dead. Giving is a way of provoking your breakthrough.

3) BEING GENEROUS/ GENOROSITY
The generous man shall be prosperous and enriched, and he who waters will himself be watered, reaping the generosity he has sown, when you refresh others you shall be refreshed as well, when you follow this principle surely you shall experience breakthrough in all areas of your life.

# Pray to God for the Grace to pray and fast, to be generous in your giving, and that nothing stands in the way of your breakthrough.

Message Tittle- I'M Breaking Forth
Scripture Reference- Numbers 13:27-32

Any man who wants to break forth, has to change the way he thinks, he ought to change the way they see things. God is not moved by the size of your enemies , but He is moved by your mentality, your faith, what you see, and whether you know what you carry. What you tell your mind is what you become, if you see yourself as nothing, you will remain nothing. Breaking Forth is about penetrating through walls and barriers, it is about suspending protocol,
it is about, paralyzing principalities and systems. God is looking for a man and a woman of a different mind, men and women that are stubborn and radical in their faith.

How Do You Break Forth?

1) I CAN, I SHALL, AND I WILL MENTALITY !!
Philippians 4:3 I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!! Tell yourself that "I CAN", Jabez knew who he was in Christ, he broke through the curse that his mother had placed over his life, he was of a different mentality, he did not succumb to the situation that he was born into, he broke forth from the curse and the lifestyle of poverty and sorrow!!

2) BE CONSCIOUS OF THE BACKINGS OF GOD!!
The Bible says to us, if God be for me, who can be against
me? know that heaven is backing you up, God and His mighty army is with you wherever you go, no matter how fierce the battle, believe that heaven is on your side, just as God was with Elijah among the 150 prophets of baal, God answered by fire!! David was a man with many enemies, since heaven was backing him up he subdued and defeated his enemies!!

3)CARRY CALEB'S SPIRIT
You need to catch a different spirit!! you need a spirit of boldness, of courage, a spirit of a Lion, destroy any
grass-hopic mentality or any negative thoughts that you may have, God hates smallness, He does not want you to live in fear but move in authority and a Godly confidence, you should refuse to feel intimidated!!

# Pray that God gives you a new mind, a reformed and a reshaped mind, a mind that sees what God sees, in spite of the outward appearance!!
# Pray that fear will have no place in your life!! That you carry a spirit of boldness, courage and confidence..
