𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓

Phakalane Women's Ministry Department met for prayer breakfast and it was a blessed day.

Pastor Bantle Mosekiemang encouraged women to pray everyday because the greatest investment that God gives us is the talent to pray. She said that we are all talented and we should pray more, because a day without prayer is a day without a blessing.

Phakalane Church had a beautiful Sabbath afternoon program yesterday. Sister Sinkala shared with the church that it is important for each person to know their purpose. She encouraged members to go and introspect and figure out what gifts they have. She indicated that everyone has a gift.

She said that we have different gifts, some have gifts of hospitality, praying, singing and many more. She emphasized that we should fulfil our purpose for God. She encouraged the church to wake up with a purpose.

Sister Sinkala reminded the parents that whatever gifts their children have is for the glory of God, and encouraged them to identify the gifts of their children especially when they are still young.

Mrs Sinkala reminded the church about a verse found in Jeremiah 1:5 that says before I formed you in the womb I knew you and before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Sinkala said that it is important for an individual to identify their purpose and fulfil it because it is for the glory of God. She reminded those in attendance not to neglect Jerusalem.

At the end of yesterday's afternoon program, the Women's Ministry Department saw it fit to honour the women who served as leaders in the Department. These are the women who were dedicated to do God's work to the best of their ability. We congratulate them for the job well done, for their contributions and for their exceptional leadership.

𝟑𝟎 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐆𝐎𝐃'𝐒 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄

During the Divine Service the preacher of the day Mrs Mildred Chilufya Sinkala said that celebration of the 30 years of Women's Ministry's existence is a special time to celebrate everyone that has been part of it. She indicated that it has been 30 years of grace and it is also a reminder that 30 years ago a seed was planted.

She reminded the women that they can proclaim the gospel and that they manage not because of their own strength, wisdom or perfection but through God who has been guiding them.

When giving her own experience with Women's Ministry she indicated that it has been a home she grew in and has participated in many programs that brought her spiritual growth, she also mentioned that the ministry has been the voice for the voiceless, brought comfort to those who were hurting. It has been stated that some of the programs such as '' adopt a child in the church has taught many to be compassionate.

Sister Sinkala reminded the church that it is not just a celebration of 30 years but a reminder to know who we are and that we should serve.
Women's Ministry has been described as a place of discipleship, and a place where we redeem our commitment. Sister Sinkala informed the congregation that God is calling men too so that all of us get away from our busy lives and focus on God.

Sinkala reminded the church that we were called in the faith and in the ministry by God because God loves us and once we receive the invitation we should go and spread the love. We were reminded that it is everyone's responsibility to keep inviting those around them in God's life, to keep inviting them to the table to come sit with them.

The church was reminded that the Ministry expects men and women to go to the bereaved and invite them to the table to find comfort. She said that after 30 years of Ministry we are expected to be good hosts. We are expected to give hope to the hopeless in the church.

This morning Phakalane Church celebrated the Women's Ministry's 30th Anniversary. It is a special day to celebrate and remember the great work of dedicated women of God who chose to listen to God's calling by serving in their churches and communities.

Women's Ministry was formed to now.

The Women's Ministry Department has done a lot in the Adventist Church and many lives have been changed for the better by the existence of this wonderful Ministry.
