The Sower

Matthew 13:1-9
The farmer represents God and the seed is the word of God. The seed that fell along the path is a person who hears the message and does not understand it. The evil one comes and snatches away what is sown in their heart. The seed that fell on rocky ground is someone who hears the word and receives it with joy but since they do not have no root they last only for a short time because of persecution/trouble of the word hence they fall away. The seed that fell among thorns refers to someone who hears the word but worries of life and the desires to get rich choke the word, making it unfruitful. The seed that fell on good soil is someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who preaches the gospel to people and is not afraid of the persecution or trouble that might come while preaching the word.

Jesus wants us to live our lives in the power which he supplies. He wants us to learn to trust him, to walk by faith and not by sight

The Mustard Seed

(Matthew 13:31-32)

Jesus is teaching us that although the Kingdom of God started small with Jesus and his disciples, it would grow and spread across the world to a lot of people.

Furthermore, the mustard Seed parable highlights the idea that something seemingly insignificant can carry immense significance. Although not the smallest seed known, the mustard seed's humble beginnings lead to remarkable growth, illustrating the theme that many great things start small.

The Unforgiving Servant

Matthew 18:21-35
This parable is teaching us that God is willing to let us off a debt we cannot repay so we should forgive others. The servant who did not forgive the other servant was tortured. Jesus is referring to the way a person feels when they cannot forgive, they remain bitter and end up suffering the most.

Not Fitting In

Ephesians 2:10

The Bible narrates that we are God's handiworks (craftsmanship)hence we have been created to do the precious works of God in these world. The works we are purposed to do are aligned to the fulfilment of Godly purposes and not for the satisfaction of the worldly agendas. Furthermore the book of Romans 12:2 it says we shouldn't be conformed to the worldly ways of doing things or fitting in but we should be aligned to the purposes of living according to the ordinances and leadings of God's spirit by the renewal of our mindsets.

The book of John 15:19 is saying that when christians does not take part in worldly things, the world hates them. People of the world do not like when God's light shines in the world. This is why 1 Timothy 2:12 is making it clear that people who belong to God will always face persecution just as Jesus Christ was also persecuted.

Spiritual Purity

Purity is related to guiltless, blameless, or innocent behavior. In Exodus 23:7, an innocent person is portrayed as someone who is righteous as measured by the demands of the law.

Spiritual Purity
The Bible in the book of Matthew 5:8 makes it clear that for somebody to be spiritually pure, they have to have good hearts. This means that when our heart is pure we will be able to access all that we have asked for in prayer.

Education

2 Timothy 2:15 tells us that we should study and show God that we understand the truth. This verse refers to knowing God's word and being able to point out false teachings and philosophies, but it applies to education as well. As a student, you should indulge yourself in your work and be the best you can be.

Psalm 32:8
The Spirit of the Lord helps us even when we don't ask. This is a precious gift God us. Basically this verse is giving us the assurance that the Lord will always correct us whenever we walk in the wrong path and when we seek Him.

God's mercy

The book of Titus 3:5 explains about the mercy & love that God showed to us by sending His only son to die for our sins. So since the Lord showed us the great love & mercy He has for us, we as sinners should give thanks to the Lord for what He has done for us by having mercy on other people and helping those who are in need.

Furthermore, in the book of Proverbs 28:13 the Bible cites that the mercy of God comes upon brethrens who are able to realize (remorseful) of their mistakes and confess in truth in acceptance of their flaws to be corrected and redeemed. It is also clear that the mercies of God will not be granted to the prideful people who conceal(hide) their sins and hence will lead to regretful results of those particular people not being prosperous in life.

Being away from God

The book of Psalms 139:7-12 is focused on God's presence and the ability to be everywhere at once. This verses are basically teaching us that whenever we feel like we are away from the Lord, He is always with us all the time and everywhere we are.

The Book of Romans 8:38-39 says that nothing can separate us from God's love. The love of God will always be available for us even in times of despair where we might feel that we are away from God's presence.

Death

Matthew 5:4 makes it clear that when people grieve their family or friends they shall surely find comfort in the Lord. This is God's assurance to us that whenever we loss our loved ones, He will always be with us during those heartbreaking moments to give us hope.

The book of John 16:22 further elaborates that at often times there is a time to grief but the pain and hurt we encounter through such experiences such as death will not steal away the joy that the Lord has bestowed to be part of our lives.

Swearing

The book of Matthew 5:33 is teaching us the value of being honorable and trustworthy. We must always keep our word when others depend on us even if things change or keeping the promises brings loss of some of the things.

Paul's injunction in Ephesians 4:29 is the ideal lesson for Christians about the propriety of speech; No foul language should come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for needed edification, that it may impart grace to those who hear.

Steadfastness

1 Peter 5:10

The word of God in the book of 1 Peter talks of the endurance and the sufferings that we as believers go through because of the kingdom of God. But it emphasizes that those who wait with hope and belief in God shall be strengthened by and be established. The establishment of christians is based on God turning around the lives of those who have been in worries and pain by bringing joy and in their lives.

Additionally, the book of 2 Peter 3:17 is teaching us that it is better to suffer for doing good than bad for Jesus Christ also suffered. We must remain alert and watchful till our Saviour comes again.
