Scripture of the Day
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may befood in My house, and try Me now in this,’ says the Lord ofhosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven andpour out for you such blessing that there will not be room
enough to receive it.’” - Malachi 3:10 (NKJV)
Message:
Tithe is a command from God, and it is so beneficial to abeliever. Tithe is a tenth of your income, and tithe is a testof your obedience to God. Suppose you are working, a tenthof your earnings is the tithe, and when you receive otherincome in the month, the Lord commands a tithe. Ourscripture today starts with the words, “… bring all thetithes”. The Bible did not say give; it says BRING.
This means it is not yours in the first place.Once you haveincome, a tenth of it must be returned to the Lord. Tithing isa discipline; hence it is difficult to start, but once you start
and are consistent, it becomes something you do withouteven thinking about it.
The Bible says you have the authority to test God with yourtithe. The Lord says, He opens the windows of Heaven andpours out a blessing, which you will not have enough room
to receive. The Bible does not say He will give you finances.God says He will open windows in Heaven, which means youoperate under anopen Heaven. The Bible also says Godours out a blessing. A blessing brings protection,
makes you the head, preserves you, gives you victory, and ablessing brings prosperity. Tithing has tremendous benefits
in the life of a believer.
Action point
Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say,‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings.You are cursed with a curse, for you have robbed Me, even
this whole nation” (Malachi 3:8-9 NKJV). Today make up yourmind to not ever rob the Lord.
Prayer:Merciful God, forgive me for the times I did not bring theTithe to You. Forgive me also, for the times, I did not bringthe whole tithe. Break every curse I brought on myselfbecause of not tithing, oh Lord. From today, Iwill be a
faithful tither, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
