Matthew 13:24-30 l Ecclesiastes 3:1-end l John 2:1-4 l John 6 l Proverbs 3 l Psalm 127:1-2 NLT
Beginning the message the servant of God gave the people a word of exaltation; There is power in the word of God, in the word is all answers we are looking for. Receive it so it can make a positive change in your life. The woman of God read us from the book of Matthew 13:24-30 where Jesus put a parable before His people, with the key message that He shall gather all His kingdom, not just any time but at harvest time.
While the servant wanted to go right ahead and uproot the w**d, the Master told him not to, declaring that it was not yet time. We must become aware that as we have our own plans and timings, God also has His own. The Lord is a God of seasons and operates at His own time, no matter what appears to be happening in our lives, He has perfect time for everything. Therefore while forcing things to happen before time might get us results, even sweet results, but we must know, that the sweetness will not last and in the end we may loose a lot. On one hand however, whatever is done at God's time, the sweetness lasts forever. Meaning anything that happens before God's time turns out bitter, because those fruits we force they may look good, nice on the outside but bitter on the inside.
We may want speed, but our own time in life doesn't matter. For instance, the Lord made a promise to Abraham to make him a father of many nations. Then, after many years they still didnt have a child. On their own, they agreed to take their servant Hagar and she had a child with Abraham. When the child, Ishmael, came, conflicts and family disputes erupted, as they had forced things to fit into their season. Later when Abraham was hundred years old, their child Issac arrived in God's time. And the bible would go on to speak much about him and not Ishmael, because he was God's plan. Therefore, when you force your hand, you may receive what is available but not what is for you, because what is prepared for you comes at God's time only.
According to the wisdom of the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-end, do not consider your age neither the circumcstances around you and begin to force yourself into marriages and the like just because everyone else around you is married. We may look at our situations and don't understand or know the reason, but the Lord understands and knows the reason for them. Our times in God are different, follow Him an be patient. It is up to us whether we are going to wait for God's time, which is the perfect time, or we force to fit our own time which leaves us with grief.
God is not done with you, He is still preparing you for greater things which are to come - through every trial and tribulation. God looks at the heart to search whether we are ready for blessing or not. For when we are not ready most blessings end up destroying us. People of God, even a child has to be nine months in the womb, if he is born any earlier he needs an incubator, but at the right time he becomes just a normal child. This is like our lives: any blessing at the right time is good. Therefore what we often call delay, is there to prepare us to be able to take, maintain and use with wisdom, the big blessing, big job, money and marriage in order for them to not destory us. The best things take time, even when you want to cook well it takes time and they ask you your number of years of experience when you go for an interview. Hence, do not say God is delaying you, He is preparing you.
Blessings without character and wisdom can not work for us, they become but a waste. In the book of John 2:1-4, even Jesus didn't rush things but waited for God's time. During a wedding in Jerusalem, his brothers gave him pressure to reveal Himself, perform miracles and show people what He can do. Even his mother said to him that people were out of wine. Jesus didn't listen to them, but simply told them that, "My time has not yet come." People of God, if the Lord knows to wait, whom are we, how could we say it is too late?
The book of John 7:6 reads: {Jesus replied, โNow is not the right time for me to go, but you can go anytime.} Who are we to fail waiting for the right time? The Lord is not concerned about what wenget but what we become. He looks at us and asks, "If he receives this, will he continue to serve me?" Jesus loves us, He can never abandon us. Let us wait patiently for the time He has set for us through patience, when we force we end up opening doors that were never to be opened. Because we make many decisions without God. For example if we enter into marriage and God holds children for a purpose, we feel God is delaying, so we'll now take short cuts and bring about the chikdren. However, shortly after, we are the same ones who will cry about the same children and do not know what to do with them.
The book of Proverbs 3 teaches to trust in God and lean not in our own understanding. People of God, trust upon the Lord and His promises for at the right time it shall come to pass. When starting a business, hear the mind of God, "Lord is this the right time and right business to do?" When we forget to involve God at this stage, and we employ own will and effort, when results don't come, we later question God. Let us start with God in all we do and we shall be with Him through out, and when results dont come we won't suddenly doubt Him.
The woman of God further read us from the book of Psalm 127:1-2;
1 Unless the lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. 2 It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.
To labour in vain is the result of our own effort. We don't wake up by an alarm, but by God's grace, and neither is it because you prepared lunch that you can eat, it is God's grace that takes you through the day. It is because of the same God you are able to return back home, by His grace, not because you left family at home, your family cannot bring you back. Its not your money that wakes up you in the morning but God because he holds our future and has plans with our lives (Psam 31:15). Therefore, in this waiting period, let us have faith in God. Let us not panic, panicking can make us to fall, to follow people when we should be following God.
From Genesis 25:29-34, Esau sold his birthright because he was hungry. As his brother gave him food he asked him to swear that he is giving him the first-born birthright. Esau despised his birthright, he questioned what good was the birthright when he was hungry like this. People of God, do not trade your birthright because of that unemployment or that situation. Don't take short cuts and trade your birthright, your christianity, because trading it is trading God's love. The first born is meant to receive a double portion of blessings, therefore don't allow that situation cause you to force things into your own time. Because Esau traded his birthright, he traded his family leadership and his inheritance.
In conluding her message, the woman of God gives an encouragement and says that facing storms and challenges does not mean God is not with you, those situations come and pass. They are just meant to shake you and make you strong. They are a preparation, so that once they are passed, we remain standing stronger for Jesus. Therefore be patient and don't be hurried - remain focused and rooted in the Word of God, make it the standard for your life, then you will not be be carried away by this fast world.
