SUNDAY SERVICE SUMMARY
31 May 2026
Theme: A Call to be Co-Laborers with God for the End-Time Harvest
Main Texts: 1 Corinthians 3:9, Matthew 9:35–38, Matthew 10
Speaker: As. Pastor Onkokame Badubi

God is not calling us merely to work for Him, but to work with Him as partners in His mission of saving the lost. As Scripture declares, "For we are God's co-laborers" (1 Corinthians 3:9).
Jesus saw the world as a mission field. He looked upon people with compassion, recognizing that they were "harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." In these challenging last days, many people are searching for truth, hope, peace, and direction. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
As co-laborers with Christ, we are called to: β€’ See people through God's eyes of compassion. β€’ Pray earnestly for more workers in the harvest field. β€’ Go and preach the Gospel of salvation, repentance, and reconciliation. β€’ Depend on the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. β€’ Demonstrate God's love through service, healing, deliverance, and generosity.
When we partner with God, we experience a deeper relationship with Him, greater spiritual fruitfulness, joy in serving others, and the fulfillment that comes from participating in His Kingdom work.
The hour is late, the fields are white unto harvest, and God is calling His people to arise and labor alongside Him for the salvation of souls.
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." – Matthew 9:37

πŸ“– Theme: *Rising Above Limitations*
πŸ“ Judges 4:4

Deborah arose as a judge and leader of Israel during a difficult season. Though the Israelites were troubled and humiliated, God sent a message of hope: β€œArise!” Through wisdom and faith, Deborah led the people to victory over the Canaanites.
We were reminded that limitations are the detours and difficulties that try to stop our progress β€” fear, sickness, rejection, poverty, heartbreak, disappointment, barrenness, and loss. But God is calling His people to rise above every limitation.

πŸ”₯ Key Lessons from the Message:
1️⃣ Arise Above Fear
Fear cripples thinking and weakens faith. Like Moses’ mother, Miriam, and Jehosheba, we must trust God even in dangerous situations.
πŸ“– 2 Timothy 1:7

2️⃣ Arise Above Heartbreak
Do not allow pain, betrayal, or unforgiveness to keep you down. God has good plans for your life, and He fights for those who trust Him.
πŸ“– Jeremiah 29:11

3️⃣ Arise Above Your Pain
Hannah prayed through her pain, and God restored Israel through Deborah. The Lord gives beauty for ashes and joy instead of mourning.
πŸ“– Isaiah 61:3
πŸ“– Psalm 126:1

4️⃣ Arise for a Purpose
Women like Zipporah, Abigail, and Jael arose at critical moments and changed situations through wisdom and courage. God has placed purpose inside each one of us.

✨ No matter your situation, there is still a person inside you who can rise again. Arise above fear, heartbreak, pain, and limitations β€” for God is interested in your rising! πŸ™Œ

πŸ“– Sunday Service Message Highlights | 17 May 2026

πŸ“Œ Title: Spiritual Maturity and Equipping
πŸ“– Main Scripture: Ephesians 4:11–13

Spiritual maturity is about growing deeper in Christ and helping others grow to that level and beyond. God has given different gifts and ministries within the church to strengthen and equip His people.

Paul explains that Christ gave:
β€’ Apostles – messengers sent with a special mission
β€’ Prophets – gifted to communicate God’s revelation
β€’ Evangelists – passionate soul winners
β€’ Pastors – shepherds caring for the spiritual needs of believers
β€’ Teachers – gifted to explain and teach the Word of God

These gifts were given for three important purposes:
1️⃣ To perfect the saints – preparing believers for spiritual growth and maturity.
2️⃣ For the work of ministry – equipping every believer to serve others in Christ.
3️⃣ To build up the Body of Christ – encouraging and strengthening one another in faith.

✨ Conclusion: God desires that we:
β€’ Grow in unity of faith
β€’ Increase in the knowledge of the Son of God
β€’ Become spiritually mature
β€’ Reflect the fullness and character of Christ
πŸ™ Let us continue growing together as one body in Christ for the advancement of His Kingdom.
