โI know you all buy this Mokula cupboards because you can't afford the real thing ๐
โ
โI often get people asking me if I can't fix them when they are broken down and the sad truth is that materials used to manufacture this things are very low quality and fragile, once broken or deformed can never be repaired again hance they are being sold at a way cheaper price๐๐ค๐ฝ.
โ
โHowever, the tip I can give you is that, you don't have to wait for them to break before you can save them.
โImmediately after delivery you can make few adjustments and reinforcements to ensure that your mokula cupboards can last longer than manufacture periods.
โ- Firstly add corner blocks (plastic) in each and every corner and secure them with suitable screws according to your board panel thickness, then add support wooden beams 100mm X length of your primary cupboard, add 2, one at the top and one at the bottom on all cupboards and also secure with screws for extra strength so your cupboards won't shake even when you move them or when they are extra full.
โ- Change drawer rails and use heavy duty rails.
โ- Also change the Masonite boards at the back for 3mm thickness if you can afford to do so.
โBy doing that, instead of 3 months your cupboards will last for approximately 4 or more years.
โAnd all this if you DO IT YOURSELF you will spend at least P200 but if you get a professional Carpenter to help you it will be additional P300 for labor. Which means you'll spend at least 250/350 on your wardrobe and approximately P400/500 on your kitchen unit.
โ
โBy doing that you won't have to visit the mokula for new furniture for at least 4 years or more.
โ
โAll this can be done in just 2 hours.
โ
โI hope you find this helpful ๐ ๐๐ฟ
