Good morning & be fruitful

YOU MUST KEEP LOOKING EVEN WHEN YOU SEE NOTHING

1 Kings 18:43 NIV
[43] “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.”

‎Elijah told his servant:

‎“Go again.”

‎The servant went once.

· ‎Nothing.
· ‎Twice.
· ‎Nothing.
· ‎Three times.
· ‎Nothing.
· ‎Four times.
· ‎Nothing.
· ‎Five times
· ‎Nothing.
· ‎Six times.

‎Still nothing.

‎But Elijah said:

‎“Go again.”

‎There is a powerful lesson here:

‎Delay is not denial.

‎Just because you cannot see anything does not mean God is not working.

‎Sometimes God is working beneath the surface before He allows you to see the evidence.

‎You may have prayed for your family.

‎You may have prayed for your career.

‎You may have prayed for your business.

‎You may have prayed for your ministry.

‎You may have prayed for restoration.

‎And perhaps you are saying, “God, I have prayed so many times, but nothing has changed.”

‎I came to encourage you in this new Month of September child of God:

· ‎Go again.
· ‎Pray again.
· ‎Believe again.
· ‎Trust again.
· ‎Try again.
· ‎Stand again.

‎The seventh time may carry the answer you were waiting for.

‎NEW BEGINNINGS OFTEN START SMALL

1 Kings 18:44
‎“And at the seventh time the servant said, ‘Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand.’ And he said, ‘Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.’”

‎The servant did not see a mighty storm.

‎He saw a little cloud.

‎Sometimes we expect God to begin our new season with something dramatic. We want the doors to open immediately, the finances to change overnight, the opportunity to appear suddenly, and everything to become perfect at once.

‎But God often begins with something small.

‎A conversation.

‎An opportunity.

‎An idea.

‎A relationship.

‎A door.

‎A little progress.

‎A renewed desire to pray.

‎A small act of obedience.

‎Never despise small beginnings.

‎Zechariah 4:10 says:

‎“For who hath despised the day of small things?”

‎The cloud was small, but the promise was great.

Mokaulengwe, ‎do not measure your future by the size of your beginning.

‎David started with a sling, but he became a king.

‎Joseph started in a pit, but he ended up in a palace.

‎Moses started with a staff, but God used him to deliver a nation.

‎Your beginning may look small child of God, but God can breathe greatness into small beginnings.

NEW BEGINNINGS

‎Sunday Service 30/08/26

Scripture: 1 Kings 18:44
‎“And at the seventh time the servant said, ‘Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand.’ And he said, ‘Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.’”

‎Beloved, every new beginning starts with a sign of hope.

‎In 1 Kings 18, Israel had experienced a prolonged season of drought. For three and a half years, the heavens had been shut, the land had suffered, and the people had endured severe hardship. But after Elijah prayed, something began to change.

‎The Bible says that Elijah sent his servant to look toward the sea. The servant went and returned six times saying, “There is nothing.”

‎But Elijah did not stop praying because he could not yet see the answer.

‎On the seventh time, the servant came back with a different report:

‎“Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand.”

‎It was only a small cloud, but Elijah understood something profound:

‎A small cloud can carry a great rain.

‎What looked insignificant was actually the beginning of a major transformation.

‎Today, I came to announce to somebody:

‎Your season is changing. Your drought is coming to an end. God is beginning something new in your life.

A NEW BEGINNING REQUIRES FAITH

‎God can announce a new beginning, but we must respond in faith.

‎Noah had to build the ark.

‎Abraham had to leave his country.

‎Moses had to return to Egypt.

‎Joshua had to step into the Jordan.

‎The disciples had to leave their boats and follow Jesus.

‎Faith is not simply believing that God can do something.

‎Faith is trusting God enough to obey Him.

‎Sometimes the new beginning requires you to leave something behind.

‎You cannot enter every new season carrying every old thing.

‎There are habits you must surrender.

‎There are mindsets you must change.

‎There are relationships you may need to reconsider.

‎There are fears you must overcome.

‎There are wounds you must allow God to heal.

‎There are old labels you must stop accepting.

‎Paul said in Philippians 3:13–14 that he was forgetting what was behind and pressing toward what was ahead.

Child of God‎, you cannot walk confidently into a new season while constantly living in the memories of the old one.

GOD BRINGS NEW BEGINNINGS THROUGH HIS WORD

‎The turning point in Genesis 1 was not human effort.

‎It was the Word of God.

‎Genesis 1:3:

‎“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

‎God spoke, and creation responded.

‎This means that when God wants to begin something new, He releases His Word.

‎His Word brings:

‎**Light where there is darkness.
‎Order where there is confusion.
‎Hope where there is despair.
‎Life where there is death.
‎Direction where there is uncertainty.**

‎Therefore, if you desire a new beginning, return to the Word of God.

‎Do not allow your circumstances to become louder than God's promises.

‎Your situation may say, “It is impossible.”

‎God's Word says, “With God all things are possible.”

‎Your circumstances may say, “It is over.”

‎God's Word says that He makes all things new.

‎Your past may say, “You have failed.”

‎God's Word says that there is redemption and restoration.

Good morning & be fruitful

The enemy may want you to interpret a temporary setback as a permanent verdict.

‎But failure is not always the end of the story.

‎Peter failed when he denied Jesus, but his failure did not cancel his calling.

‎David was rejected and overlooked, but rejection did not cancel his kingship.

‎Joseph was thrown into a pit and later imprisoned, but neither the pit nor the prison could cancel the dream God had given him.

‎It is not merely where you are; it is where God is taking you.

‎You may be in a difficult chapter, but God is still writing the story.

BEFORE THE NEW BEGINS, THERE MAY BE A CLIMATE OF DEFEAT

Genesis 1:1-8
‎Do not interpret the darkness as evidence that God has abandoned you.

‎Sometimes darkness is simply the background against which God is about to reveal His light.

Good morning & be fruitful

BEFORE THE NEW BEGINS, THERE MAY BE A CLIMATE OF DEFEAT

Genesis 1:1–8 Zechariah 4:10

‎Sometimes, immediately before God changes a situation, circumstances appear to become worse.

‎The darkness may become more visible before the light appears.

‎Genesis 1:2 describes darkness, emptiness and disorder. Yet verse 3 says:

‎“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”

‎Notice the sequence:

‎**Darkness came before light.
‎Emptiness came before fullness.
‎Disorder came before order.**
