Fourth Sunday of Lent!
Mass Celebrated By Rev Fr. Olefile Ikaneng!

Today’s Gospel tells the story of Jesus healing the man who was blind from birth. While others questioned and doubted, the man simply testified to the truth of his encounter with Christ: “I was blind and now I see.” Through this miracle, Jesus shows that He is the Light who opens not only physical eyes but also the eyes of faith.

Today the Church celebrates Laetare Sunday, often called “Pink Sunday,” the Fourth Sunday of Lent. The rose color worn today symbolizes joy and hope in the middle of the Lenten journey, reminding us that the joy of Easter is drawing near. 🌸

✨ Reflection:
Like the man in the Gospel, we are invited to let Christ open our eyes, to see His grace even in our struggles. On this Laetare Sunday, the Church reminds us that even in seasons of sacrifice, God’s light and joy are already breaking through!!!

Second Sunday Of Lent✝️
Mass celebrated by Rev Fr. Ketshepileone Puoeng

Gospel Summary: Matthew 17: 1-9
On the mountain, Jesus reveals His glory to Peter, James, and John. His face shines, His clothes become radiant, and the Father’s voice declares:
“This is my beloved Son… listen to Him.”

The disciples are afraid, but Jesus gently touches them and says, “Rise, and do not be afraid.”

✨ Reflection:
Lent invites us to our own “mountain moments” times of prayer where Christ reveals His light to strengthen us. The glory of the Transfiguration reminds us that the Cross is not the end.

Today, may we choose to listen to Him, trust Him in our fears, and carry His light back into our daily lives. 🤍🙏

Second Sunday In Ordinary Time✨
Mass celebrated by Rev Fr. Bonang Seiso

Gospel Summary: John 1:29–34
John the Baptist sees Jesus coming toward him and proclaims, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.” He testifies that Jesus is the one greater than him, the One on whom the Spirit descended and remained at His baptism. John confirms that Jesus is the Son of God and the One who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.

Takeaway for the Day📍
Like John the Baptist, we are called to recognize Jesus for who He truly is and to point others toward Him not ourselves. Today invites us to reflect on how we bear witness to Christ through our words, actions, and humility. May we allow the Holy Spirit to guide us so that our lives clearly proclaim “This is the Son of God.”

Fr Seiso closed his Homily with these words: “NNA LESEDI, FETOGA LESEDI”🙏✨

HOLY FAMILY FEAST MASS

In today’s Gospel, we see a beautiful example of family responsibility and obedience. Jesus, though the Son of God, submits to the care and guidance of Mary and Joseph. Joseph listens to God and faithfully protects his family, while Mary supports and nurtures the child entrusted to them.

This reflects what our Parish Priest reminded us in his homily:
• Children are called to obedience, learning respect, discipline, and trust through their parents.
• Parents are entrusted with the responsibility to guide, protect, and raise their children well, shaping them into responsible and faithful adults who will build a better tomorrow.

Key message:
Strong families are built on obedience, love, guidance, and faith. When parents lead with wisdom and children respond with respect, God’s plan unfolds not only in families, but in society as a whole.
