Acts 9 : 1 - 9
1 - And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2 - And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3 - And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 - And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 - And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 - And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7 - And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
8 - And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 - And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
NB.
The book of Acts is known for the move of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3 : 5 - 6
5 - Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6 - Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life
Everyone who was seen as a threat to Judaism was to be taken to court. Judaism was about the law.
Saul was on his mission to bring those in Damascus who were against Judaism. He was carrying the letters when he met with Jesus.
He was the only one who saw the owner of the voice while those with him, just heard the voice.
He fell down when he encountered the light for the period of letters has come to an end. Paul wanted to persecute people for the law.
This was the time of transition from the letter to the spiri for the letter killeth and the spirit gives life. The spirit birth life ie we are to mature from the letter to the spirit.
Out of the our belly comes rivers of living waters.
Romans 8
The law of the spirit makes us free.
2 Corinthians 5 : 17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

When you transition you open and interpret season.
John lived what was said by Isaiah.
When you mature into sons, you will understand the power that you carry. You enter into certain realms and become a giant of faith.
Acts 28 : 1 - 6
1 - And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
2 - And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
3 - And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
4 - And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
5 - And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.
6 - Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.
When you transition, you became a giant and become people's role models. We should not be bothered every little thing for we carry the power of God.
In the season of scarcity we should be bold and courageous.
Daniel 11 :32b.... but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
When you transition the sufferings of the present time cannot be compared to the joy that we shall experience when we are with Christ.
When you transition you see beyond your present situation.
Transitioning is very key in our lives in this last days. Our lives should show maturity .

Msg : *Align to the footing/setting*

Nb.
When builders build a house they start by setting up the design on the ground.
The footing set the boundaries.
Jesus Christ needs our setting. Whatever that we are doing or teaching must be aligned to Jesus Christ.

Jesus described in two forms.
1. The word of God that we read ie His humanity
2. The risen One.
We must desire that deity be visible in our lives ie living His life.
Hebrews 12 : 1 - 3
1 - Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 - For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
We are encouraged to lay aside every weight and sin ensaring us.
As we walk, they are particular weights that come our way that cause slowness in our walk.
The weight is heavy for us to be fast on our race.
What is your weight that you are carrying?
It is upon you to let go of the weight so as to be delivered or set free.
A witness can be for you to set you free or against you ie to help your sentencing.
As Christians we have many witnesses who have run the race before us by fixing their eyes on Jesus.
Moses in his anger was still usable to God Almighty.
Impacts of weights;
* We have to run the race with endurance and not allowing the weight to weigh you down. The weight slows us down
* Steals our peace.
* Hinders our devotion time with God
Nb. When you are not aligned to Christ you up will soon stagger in your walk. A house that is not aligned to the footing will eventually crack.

*Examples of weights that we are to address*

1. Our character
Romans 5 : 3 - 5
3 - And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 - And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 - And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Character can open or close doors for us.
Character is what people see in you after you have passed on ie your impact in the world.
Your character defines you ie the fragrance that you leave behind after you have attended a meeting.
We fail to mature and impact the world because of our character which is still worldly.
Character is legacy that you leave behind. We should strive to be aligned to Christ always.
It is easy for people to fool you and not tell you the truth about your weakness until you are dead.
It takes character to win the world. We must learn how to behave with each other.

2. Our Speech
What we say to us. What people say to us holds water only when we also believe what they are saying.
Proverbs 23:7
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Begin to see yourself as a winner no matter what you may be facing.
When you are aligned with Christ we will be able to stand our ground in the Lord.
Our speech is what we say about others in their presence or absence. Be mindful of what you say about other people.
We must love each other as God is love.
Our speech if it is not unaligned to Christ will hinder our growth
Colossians 4 : 6
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Mathew 12 : 34
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (KJV)
What is it that we say?

3. Discouragement
The journey of life will beat you left and right and you will feel discouraged.
When you are going through the fires and deep waters, you will know who are your true friends.
1 Samuel 30 : 6
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
People blamed their loss on David.
David remembered his position in Christ and encouraged himself in the Lord.
Work on yourself and all that God has placed in your life. Don't give the enemy a footstool over your life.
Discouragement will make you quit a good thing.

4. Unbelief
It is when you are discouraged that you doubt the word of God.
Remember where you started and hold Him at His word for He shall surely make it come to pass.

*What to do when weights weigh you down.*

1. Repent and ask God to show you what you ought to do.
At the first crack in your setting, go back to God.
* maintain your deliverance at all costs
* admit your contribution to the problem to the issue and ask God for direction.
* we must be sensitive in pleasing God. Allow God to speak to you through His people.
Nb. Act at the first crack

2. Be consistent in your walk and pursue peace.
Consistency produces excellence. Do one thing until you graduate.

3. Commit yourself to God in prayer continually
PRAY until you shed blood.
Be like the persistent widow and God will turn your story around.
Luke 18 : 3 - 5
3 - And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 - And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 - yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me."'
We must walk focused only on God for He is the only one that matters to us.

Friends on a sad note we inform you that our beloved mother Mmamoruti Fenny Monyatsi has been promoted to glory today the 26th of April 2023 her 20th anniversary with her Husband Moruti Archiemoore Monyatsi. God willing she shall be laid to rest on Monday 1st May 2023. Our God reigns supreme over all the affairs of man.
