THE BAHAMAS NATIONAL BAPTIST YOUNG ADULT WOMEN’S MINISTRY
The Bahamas National Baptist Young Adult Women’s Ministry is an arm of The Bahamas National Baptist Women’s Convention and Auxiliary to The Bahamas National Baptist Missionary And Educational Convention. VISION:
The vision of The Bahamas National Baptist Young Adult Women’s Ministry is to promote and support the vision and mission of the W

omen’s Convention through prayer, financial support as well as sensitize the young adult women about our ministry. GOALS:
The major goals of The Bahamas National Baptist Young Adult Women’s Ministry are to influence each young women to become develop in evangelism, spiritual growth and mission through:

1. Outwardly displaying the most important commandment of loving unconditionally.
4. Developing a personal relationship with God through prayer and daily reading of God’s word.
5. Influencing other women to live godly lives by being godly examples.
6. Supporting the Women’s Convention (parent body) through prayer and financial means.
7. Encouraging young woman affiliated with the Bahamas National Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention, including those in the Family Islands, to become active in the Bahamas Baptist Young Adult Women’s Ministry.
8. Establishing a Girls Auxiliary (GA’s) in every Baptist church affiliated with the Bahamas National Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention.
9. Being faithful and committed in our service to God and each other. PROPOSED ACTIVITIES:
• Quarterly Fellowship, Bible Study, Prayer Meetings and Socials
• Community Outreach
• Visitations-home and visits to Sick and Shut-in etc
• Training and Development – Seminars, Workshop, Retreats and Conferences
• Create a United Baptist Young Adult Women’s Choir, Chorale and Praise Team
• Young Adult Women’s Newsletter
• Talent Forums: Speech Contests, Beauty Pageant etc
• Mentoring and Tutoring
• Interact with GA’S (Girl’s Auxiliary)
• Annual Tea Party
• Community Fairs- Job Fairs, Blood Drive etc. SPECIAL NOTE:
Meetings will be held every FOURTH TUESDAY in each month : Venue: The Bahamas National Baptist Convention Head Quarters located on Balliou Hill Road, Immediately opposite
Bahamas Electricity Corporation: Officers meet from 6:00pm – 6:45pm and the General meeting began at 7:00pm – 8:30pm .The public is invited

The Bahamas National Baptist Young Adult Women accompany by Scotia Sister's Annual Community Outreach was held on March 14th 2015 at Pilgrim Baptist Church located in Kemp Road.
Special thanks to Pastor Major for accommodating this event along with Inspector Taylor from Kemp Road Urban Renewal Centre and the entire community of Kemp Road who was very receptive to the invitation.
