April 2025 Founder's Celebrations started with exuberant participation from the Sisterhood as we visited the Twilight Home for the Elderly, Pinewood Gardens, Nassau on Friday 11th April at 10:30am.
Led by Minister Terry Ferguson, our Founder's Day Chair and with our full leadership in attendance, 24 Sisters brought gifts of food, health care and cleaning supplies to assist with the care of the residents of the home. The Sisterhood also ministered to the Spirit man with songs of praises, prayers and an encouraging devotional thought by Min. Lelia Greenslade, International Queen.
Our leadership saluted the selfless and sacrificial love of the proprietress of the home, Ms. Shirley Walker - who upon retirement had converted her residence to a home to meet a need the Lord had laid on her heart.
Ms. Walker, the staff and the residents were greeted by International President, Elder Vernita Josey, Nation President, Patricia Humes and ICR VP Dr. Sherry Collie as they toured the Home. Glory to God for the Grace He has given Ms. Walker, her team and the Sisterhood for His Kingdom work.
