For our upcoming ordination service, Infinite Works Fellowship would like to highlight Naomi Knowles. She will be ordained as an Apostle on Thursday, April 14th at 7pm.
Naomi Knowles was born on January 25th, 1960 to James and Ceclia Smith (deceased). Her parents were very influential in her upbringing and were exemplary models throughout her life. Apostle Naomi graduated from Prince William High School and continued her studies in a wide range of areas at Florida International University, Cornell University, the University of the Bahamas. She held progressive roles in the hotel industry which spanned over a stellar career of 34 years. One of her notable achievements was changing the name of maids to room attendants. She received numerous awards including Manager of the Year at different hotel properties. However, it was at the tender age of 6, that she knew she was called by God. She once gathered a group of children in her backyard to preach to them using a carnation cream can as a mic. It was at the age of 9 that she realized her gift in music, after forming and leading a church choir at school, their performances would often draw large crowds. Apostle Naomi's spiritual journey deepened in her early 20s and she attended and served in various Ministerial capacities at the Church of God of Prophecy, East Street, Golden Gates Assembly and New Life Christian Centre. She further grounded her spiritual development through studies at Principles of Life Bible College under the tutelage of Dr. Betty Cleare-Pratt where she studied various courses on Biblical Hermeneutics, Sociology, Transpersonal Psychology. Apostle Naomi has travelled extensively throughout the Bahamas and the United States, teaching, preaching and ministering in music. Her travels also led her to conferences with Oral Roberts and Lester Sumrall, whose teaching and insights revealed the essence of God in deeper levels in her life. Apostle Naomi has a heart of service and humility and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Infinite Works Fellowship. She is married to Anthony Knowles and they have two children and three grandchildren.
