Every generation encounters moments that define its spiritual journey. For the young people of the North Bahamas Conference in Grand Bahama, that defining moment arrived during the RESET: Back to the Blueprint NextGen Evangelism Week 2026 (July 19th–25th).
Designed as a specialized spiritual journey, the week brought together youth from across the island to rediscover their purpose, strengthen their faith, and build a lasting foundation for the future. What unfolded over these six dynamic nights was a beautiful reminder of the power, depth, and passion of our younger generation.
The week kicked off with a powerful exploration of human value and identity ("Who Told You Who You Are?"), which grounded the youth in the biblical doctrine of Creation. By focusing on how human beings are intentionally designed by God, the session helped participants look past societal labels to realize their immense intrinsic worth in the eyes of their Creator.
From there, the meetings transitioned to the heavy realities of life's struggles ("Something’s Not Right"). This segment delved into the origin of sin and the ongoing reality of the Great Controversy, providing the youth with a clear framework to understand the spiritual warfare behind the chaos and pressures they face in the modern world.
The atmosphere shifted to a message of pure rescue with "Paid in Full." This central theme illuminated the doctrine of salvation by grace, breaking down the misconception of performance-based religion and reassuring the youth that their spiritual debt was entirely cleared through Christ’s sacrifice.
As the week progressed, the youth anchored themselves to the unchanging authority of scripture ("Can You Trust This?"). This night focused on the reliability of the Bible, proving to young professionals that scripture is not an outdated rulebook, but a trustworthy, divinely inspired map for navigating life's complex decisions.
Moving into the weekend, the meetings explored what it truly means to live a counter-cultural, transformed life ("Built Different"). This message highlighted the blessing of the Sabbath and lifestyle transformation, framing holy living not as a burden of legalistic restrictions, but as a liberating identity designed to set God's people apart.
Finally, the series concluded with a triumphant celebration of final restoration ("He’s Coming Back For You"). Centered on the doctrine of the Second Coming, this ultimate message painted a vivid picture of hope, reminding the youth that their earthly trials are temporary and that a future of perfect, eternal restoration awaits them.
While the week has officially come to a close, the true work has only just begun. RESET 2026 was never about a temporary emotional high; it was about laying down deep roots.
Powerful seeds of truth, purpose, and community have been firmly planted in the fertile ground of our young people's hearts through the ministry of our guest speaker, LoAmmi Richardson. We now stand in prayerful anticipation, fully confident that these foundational truths will take deep root and blossom into lifelong spiritual transformation. The divine blueprint has been clearly laid, a secure scriptural foundation has been established, and we eagerly look forward to walking hand-in-hand with this incredible generation as they step boldly into their God-given destiny.
