In obedience to Isaiah 56: 7, this department oversees our humanitarian services of feeding the poor, clothing the naked, helping the needy, and caring for the poor, orphans, aged, and widows. sito in Benin Republic where MOST women still go around topless and the people engage in subsistent farming. They drink untreated stream water and are ravaged by all manners of skin diseases. Majority live in mud housing. Our 55 member orphanage, Good Samaritan Network, is growing by the day as parents and relatives, impressed by the orderliness and healthiness of our adopted children, willingly release others to join. Through this method, we are gradually winning their parents for Christ, as we impart Christian education and divine knowledge unto the villagers. Our ministry also ran an orphanage for orphaned children and a social center teaching vocational skills to the youth, disadvantaged children who live and work on the streets in the Liberian Refugee Camp. Budiburan , Ghana. Services provided include night-shelters, temporary homes, drop-in centers, family tracing and reunion, medical care, vocational training, legal aid, HIV and AIDS awareness and counselling. We helped to raise enough money to transfer about 2,000 Liberian refugee women, children and youth at Budiburan, Ghana back home to Liberia because under the then UN repatriation program; each returning refugee is flown home free by aero plane with minimum luggage; fed for 3 months on returning home and giving 5 US dollars to start life with, in a country that was completely devastated with no housing, transportation, electricity etc. apart from the fact that many had no home to return to, hence without groups like ours helping out with programs like this, peace may not last in Liberia. In addition, we also operate Parakletos Academy , a bilingual co-education Christian-based nursery, primary and secondary facility, aimed at enabling underprivileged children in the poorer district of the capital city to enjoy quality education in a Christian environment, in furtherance of the great commission.
