WE ALL NEED HELP.
Some folks are rendering help just because they've spotted their food, advantages and future.
Some are helping to their discomfort and disadvantages because they see helping others as their duty.
While some are helping with the expectation of receiving a "thank you in return". Therefore, failing to thank them in return is a crime against their kind hearts.
Some are helping unconsciously even though they don't have the mind of helping, it's God using and ordering them.
The truth is, we all need help.
We need somebody.
The rich needs help.
The poor needs help.
Some are in need of medical support.
Some are in need of direction.
Some are in need of financial support.
Some are in need of food etc.
We all have areas of strenght and that's what makes us an helper to someone somewhere.
We also have areas where we're vulnerable and prone to weaknesses and that's why we should be humble enough to receive it even if the channel goes contrary to our pride and status.
Stories.
1) The man with the big Jeep.
A couple of years ago I was with a motorcycle, packed and waiting to receive a call. I noticed a certain man cutely and nearly dressed looking calmly with all curiosity.
His restlessness was evident.
He later walked up to me and came closer. And spoke to me so humbly and delicately.
He said my brother, I need fuel in my vehicle.
I want you to help me.
The financial transaction he came to do in the area was not successful. He lost contact of the person he came to see, and probably he was not with his credit card. It was night and he came from a far away place.
I seemed to be his last hope.
I was having enough on me for him to get gas.
So i dished out my financial strenght and he moved on to buy gas but before he zoomed off, he said, "thank you and may God bless you".
I was so happy and glad that I became his strenght in his time of need.
Note: Rich men also have areas of needs.
2) The day before my wedding.
It was a wonderful day. I bought a 🐄 in the morning and it was to be butchered in the evening. While we were busy preparing for others things, the news came that the 🐄 escaped and ran into the bush.
I was a bit disturbed but help came as people you will term "locals" or area boys" rallied round, pursued it and eventually got it in the night. They called me and said, 'we have seen it and it's with us now".
They used their strenght in keeping me calm and quiet.
3) Those who helped Apostle Paul in escaping King Aretas' apprehension were not as strong as he was spiritually.
4) Someone also helped Jesus with his cross.
Someone gave his burial place for Jesus burial.
Have you ever experience your vehicle overheating due to insufficient water in your radiator? You're on a highway, you needed this help urgently and you sighted a small but nearby, what will you do?
Where will CEO pride be?
Won't you seek for help?
The moment we choose not to help others when the strenght and opportunity are there with us, we are exposing such people to unnecessary pains and hardships.
Help others if there is strenght.
Seek for the opportunity to do so.
Be grateful for every act of kindness you received from others as well.
Don't look down on anyone.
Galatians 6:9
NLT:
So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time.
KJV:
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Do have a pleasant weekend buddies.
