Burundi On this Sabbath, March 28, 2026, the Seventh-day Adventist Youth in concluded a week of prayer sessions, marking the end of Global Youth Day 2026 under the theme: "Communion in Action."

During the final session, the youth provided packages of food and clothes to the most vulnerable believers affiliated with the church. This assistance follows the charitable activity held on the previous Sabbath at Hospital in the country's economic capital, Bujumbura, which marked a blood donation drive and the distribution of basic needs to sick individuals.

In his sermon entitled "The Youth in Action," the A.Y. regional coordinator, Master Guide Daddy Brilliant Niyongabo, stressed the importance of caring for others, referring to Jesus's parable of the Good Samaritan.

He urged the youth to demonstrate good character in their communities by reaching out to everyone and preaching the goodness of Jesus Christ.
