Young European Peers (YEP) Welcome to the official YEP page. Here you can find all the information about the project and many other interesting things.

Young European Peers (YEP) is an international youth exchange gathering 28 young people from Armenia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Greece, Luxembourg and Norway, in order to learn more about public speaking, tolerance and Europe in all its aspects. The project will be held in Brussels from July 17th until July 27th.

Another success story from one of our alumni!

Following our European Youth Parliament (EYP) simulation, one of our Luxembourgish delegates from 2012 was highly motivated to join his local EYP.
Unfortunately for him, no Luxembourgish EYP existed at that time.
For the past one and a half years, he worked hard establishing an EYP in Luxembourg.
After becoming the fastest recognised Candidate National Committee in EYP history, EYP Luxembourg organised a session in April in Schengen.
That session brought together 105 people from 15 countries.
Today, the Luxembourgish EYP was recognised unanimously as full National Committee by the international board of EYP.

Congratulations, Mathieu Lohr, President of EYP Luxembourg, and Luxembourgish mentor of YEP 2013.
We are happy to have contributed our bit to your success.

We are proud to have a number of amazing alumni who keep positively surprising us with their great successes!

This time, we congratulate Ilma Ibrišević for being elected in the National Board of AIESEC UK for the term 2014/2015. After a comprehensive and demanding selection process, Ilma was chosen to lead Business Development in this organisation and contribute to the overall growth.

We could not be happier for Ilma and we are sure she will do great things in the next year, just as she has been doing them so far.

A fantastic array of candidates displaying passion, vision & ideas for AIESEC UK 14-15; a gruelling selection process testing the candidates strengths & weaknesses; a difficult decision to select from a pool of amazing individuals.

I am pleased to finally announce AIESEC UK ‘s National Team 2014-15:

MCVP iGIP - Vinicius Stringhini
MCVP M&C - Elizaveta Degtiarenko
MCVP oGIP - Roxana Calancea
MCVP oGCDP - Lubka Mieresova
MCVP BD – Ilma Ibrišević
MCVP LCD – Grace Fogarty
MCP & FIN – Reuben Ayley

I look forward to the days, weeks, months and years ahead, the journey has just begun!

“The greatest accomplishment began as a decision once made and often a difficult one.”
― Michael Rawls

YEP 2012&'13 reunion in Thessaloniki Greece!
It is incredible to see how the friendships formed during the projects endure and transcend time and distance.

The final activity on the last day of the project was the closing ceremony. During this special occasion, participants and mentors remembered their memories from YEP and in both sad and happy moments made a promise to each other that they would stay in touch in the future. In addition to this, each participant and a mentor received a Youth in Action certificate - a formal proof of being a part of this project.

It's been a year since Young European Peers (YEP) 2012 came to an end, but our participants from that edition of YEP still visit each other. Two weeks ago Thea from Norway and Vaya from Greece spent some time together in London!

We rounded up the project with a simulation of a made up country called Panem which consists of four different districts. Each participant had a unique role in its home district and boundless freedom to do whatever they wanted. After the dramatic ending of the game which was caused by the creation of a fifth district and an emotional resignation from the ultimate president, our participants spent their time writing letters to each other. Bitter-sweet pleasure - participants should open their letters when they get home.
