৮৫ বছর আগের সেই অলৌকিক ঘটনা!

যেদিন লাখো মানুষ স্বচক্ষে দেখতে পারল দুই
সাহাবী (রাঃ) কে, সেদিন ছিলো ২৫শে এপ্রিল,
১৯৩২ সাল। ইরাকের রাজধানী বাগদাদ থেকে
৪০মাইল দূরে সালমান পার্ক একটি প্রাচীন জনপদ।
সেই ঐতিহ্যবাহী নগরী সালমান পার্কে সাহাবায়ে
কেরামের মধ্যে সর্বপ্রথম কবরস্থ হন বিখ্যাত
সাহাবী হযরত সালমান ফারসী (রাঃ)। এরপর প্রায় ১৩০০
বছর পর সেখানে সমাহিত করা হয় আরো দু’জন
সাহাবীকে। তার মধ্যে একজন হলেন- হযরত
হুযাইফা (রাঃ) এবং হযরত জাবের বিন আবদুল্লাহ
আনসারী (রাঃ)।
শেষাক্তো দু’জন সাহাবীর কবর প্রথমে সালমান
পার্কে ছিল না। তাঁদের কবর ছিল সালমান পার্ক
থেকে বেশ কিছু দূরে একটা অনাবাদী জায়গায়। যার
অতি নিকট দিয়ে কলকল রবে বয়ে চলেছে
ঐতিহাসিক দজলা নদী। দীর্ঘদিন পর একটি বিশেষ
ঘটনার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে তাঁদের (কবরস্থ
সাহাবীদের) কে সেখান থেকে সরিয়ে এনে
সালমান পার্কে দাফন করা হয়। যে ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র
করে তাঁদেরকে অন্যত্র সরিয়ে নেয়া হয়েছিল,
সেটি ছিল বিগত শতাব্দীর শ্রেষ্ঠতম বিস্ময়কর
ঘটনা। সেই সময় ইরাকের বাদশাহ ছিলেন বাদশাহ
ফয়সাল। একদিন বাদশাহ ফয়সাল ঘুমিয়ে আছেন। হঠাৎ
স্বপ্নে দেখেন হযরত হুযায়ইফা (রাঃ) তাঁকে
বলছেন- “আমাদের বর্তমান অবস্থান থেকে
সরিয়ে অন্যত্র
দাফন করা হোক। কেননা, আমার কবরে পানি জমতে
শুরু করেছে, আর হযরত জাবের (রাঃ) এর কবরে
পানি প্রবেশ করার উপক্রম হয়েছে।” কিন্তু বাদশাহ
ফয়সাল ব্যস্ততার কারণে পরদিন স্বপ্নের কথা ভুলে
যান। এরপর দ্বিতীয় রাতেও তিনি একই স্বপ্ন
দেখেন। কিন্তু নানাবিধ ঝামেলার কারণে সেদিনও
স্বপ্নের নির্দেশ পালন করা তাঁর পক্ষে সম্ভব
হয়নি। তখন হযরত হুযাইফা (রাঃ) তৃতীয় রাত্রে
একইভাবে স্বপ্নযোগে ইরাকের মুফতী
আজমকে একাজ সমাধা করার দায়িত্ব দেন। সেই
সঙ্গে এও বলেন যে, ‘আমি পর পর দু’রাত ধরে
বাদশাহকে এ ব্যাপারটি অবহিত করে আসছি। কিন্তু তিনি
দিনের বেলায় ভুলে যাওয়ার কারণে এ পর্যন্ত
কোন পদক্ষেপ নিতে সক্ষম হননি। এখন আপনার
দায়িত্ব হচ্ছে, আমার নির্দেশটি তাঁকে স্বরণ করিয়ে
দেয়া এবং যথাশীঘ্রই আমাদেরকে স্তানান্তর করার
ব্যবস্থা করা।
স্বপ্নযোগে এ দৃশ্য দেখে মুফতী আজম
কালবিলম্ব না করে পরদিন সকালেই ইরাকের
প্রধানমন্ত্রী নুরী আল সাঈদকে সংগে নিয়ে
বাদশাহর দরবারে হাজির হন এবং তাঁকে স্বীয়
স্বপ্নের কথা বিস্তারিরত ভাবে খূলে বলেন। বাদশাহ
ব্যাপারটা বিশদভাবে আলোচনা করার পর এরূপ একটি
স্পর্শকাতর পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের পূর্বে
মুফতীয়ে আজমের নিকট ফতওয়া তলব করেন।
মূফতী আজম লাশ স্থানান্তরের অনুকূলে ফতুওয়া
প্রদান করেন। অতঃপর সিন্ধান্ত হয় যে, কুরবানীর
ঈদের দিন যোহরের নামায শেষে
সাহাবীদ্বয়ের কবর খুঁড়ে তাঁদের লাশ মুবারক অন্য
কোন নিরাপদ স্থানে স্থানান্তরিত হবে। ইরাক সহ
দেশ বিদেশের সংবাদ মাধ্যম গুলোতে খবরটি
প্রচারিত হওয়ার সাথে সাথে সর্বত্র আলোচনার
সৃষ্টি হয়। জনগন সাহাবীদ্বয়কে দেখতে পাবার
আনন্দে বিভোর হয়ে যায়। তখ বিশ্বের অসংখ্য
ধর্মপ্রাণ মুসলমান ছিলেন মক্কা নগরীতে
সমবেত। কারণ, সময়টা ছিল হজ্জের মৌসুম। এ সংবাদ
শ্রবণে হাজীগণ বাদশাহ ফয়সালের কাছে
আবেদন করলেন আমরাও মহান
সাহাবীদ্বয়ের চেহারা মোবারক দর্শনে
আগ্রহী। অনুগ্রহ পূর্বক তারিখটা আরো ক’দিন
পিছিয়ে দেয়া হোক।
এদিকে ইরান, তুরস্ক, লেবানন, ফিলিস্তিনি, হেজায,
বুলগেরিয়া, উত্তর আফ্রিকা, রাশিয়া, ভারত বাংলাদেশ সহ
প্রভূতি রাষ্ট্র থেকে বাদশাহ ফয়সালের নিকট একই
আবেদন সম্বলিত অসংখ্য বার্তা আসতে লাগল। বাদশাহ্
ফয়সাল মহাবিপদে পড়লেন। একদিকে গোটা মুসলিম
বিশ্বের তারিখ পেছানোর জোড়ালো অনুরোধ,
অন্যদিকে দ্রুত কবর স্থানান্তরের অলৌকিক
নির্দেশ। উভয় সংকটে পড়লেন। অবশেষে এ
ব্যাপারে সিন্ধান্ত হলো যে, কিছুদিন যাতে কবরের
ভিতর পানি প্রবেশ করতে না পারে, সেজন্য
নদীর দিক থেকে দশ ফুট দুরে একটি গভীর
গর্ত খনন করে সেখানে কাঁকর ফেলা হবে। আর
সারাবিশ্বের মুসলমানদের আগ্রহের প্রতি সম্মান
প্রদর্শনপূর্বক তারিখটি আরো দশদিন পিছিয়ে দেয়া
হলো। এ ঘোষনার পর ক’দিনের মধ্যেই সালমান
পার্কের ছোট বসতিটি লোকে লোকারণ্য হয়ে
গেল অসংখ্য জ্ঞানী-গুণী, রাষ্ট্রদূত, উচ্চ পদস্থ
কর্মকর্তা এবং লক্ষ লক্ষ ধর্মপ্রাণ মুসলমানের ঢল
নামল এ পার্কে। তাঁবুতে তাঁবুতে পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে
গেল মাদায়েনের ঐতিহাসিক মাঠটি। একটি
গ্রহণযোগ্য হিসাব অনুযায়ী আগত দর্শনার্থীর
সংখ্যা ছিল পাঁচ লক্ষের অধিক। শেষ পর্যন্ত সেই
প্রতিক্ষিত দিনটি এসে গেল।
লক্ষ লক্ষ জনতার উপস্থিতিতে কবর খোঁড়া হলো।
দেখা গেল সত্যিই হযরত হুযাইফা (রাঃ) এর কবরে কিছু
পানি জমে গেছে এবং হযরত জাবের (রাঃ) এর
কবরে কিছুটা আদ্রতা দেখা দিয়েছে। এ অবস্থা
প্রত্যক্ষ করে সমবেত জনতা আবেগে আপ্লুত
হয়ে পড়লেন। তাঁদের কণ্ঠে বার বার উচ্চারিত
হতে লাগল -”আল্লাহু আকবার, আল্লাহু আকবার”
চোখে নেমে আসে অশ্রুর বন্যা। বাদশাহ
ফয়সালের নেতৃত্বে তাঁর মন্ত্রী ও
কর্মকর্তাবৃন্দ এবং বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে আগত
রাষ্ট্রদুতগণের সহযোগীতায় প্রথমে হযরত
হুযাইফা (রাঃ) এর লাশ মোবারক কবর থেকে
ক্রেনের দ্বারা তোলা হল ক্রেনের সাহায্যে
তাঁর পবিত্র লাশটি এমন ভাবে উঠানো হয় যে,
মোবারক লাশটি আপনাতেই ক্রেনের মাথায় ফিট
করে রাখা ট্রেচারে এসে পৌঁছায়।অতঃপর ট্রেচারটি
ক্রেন থেকে পৃথক করে নেয়া হল। বাদশাহ
ফয়সাল, মুফতী সাহেব, সিরিয়া এবং তুরস্কের নির্বাচিত
মন্ত্রীবর্গ এবং মিশরের যুবরাজ শাহ ফারুক অত্যন্ত
যত্ন ও তা’জীম সহকারে লাশ মোবারককে তুলে
এনে একটি কফিনের ভিতর রাখেন। অতঃপর একই
ভাবে হযরত জাবের (রাঃ) এর পবিত্র লাশটিও তুলে
আনা হয়।
আশ্চর্যের বিষয় হলো শতশত বছর কেটে
গেলেও শুধু তাঁদের লাশ মোবারকই নয়, কাফন বাঁধার
ফিতা গুলোর মধ্যেও কোন পরিবর্তন আসেনি,
সুবাহানাল্লাহ্! লাশ দুটি দেখে কেউ কেউ কল্পনাও
করতে করতে পারছিল না যে, এগুলো দীর্ঘ
তেরশত বছরের প্রাচীণ লাশ। আরো বিস্ময়ের
ব্যাপার হলো তাঁদের চোখগুলো ছিল খোলা,
সেই খোলা চোখ থেকে রহস্যময় অপার্থিব
জ্যোতি এমনভাবে ঠিকরে পড়ছিল, যে,
অনেকেই তাঁদের চোখ ভাল ভাবে দেখার
চেষ্টা করেন, কিন্তু চোখ থেকে বেরিয়ে
আসা অতি উজ্জ্বল আলোর কারণে কেউই দৃষ্টি
ঠিক রাখতে পারছিলেন না। এ অবস্থা প্রত্যক্ষ করে
বড় বড় ডাক্তারগণ হতবাক হয়ে যান। এ সময়
আন্তর্জাতিক খ্যাতি সম্পন্ন জৈনিক জার্মান চক্ষু
বিশেষজ্ঞ অত্যন্ত আগ্রহ সহকারে সবকিছু খুঁটে
খুঁটে তীক্ষ্ণ দৃষ্টিতে পর্যবেক্ষন করে মূফতি
সাহেবের হাত ধরে বললেন “ইসলামের সত্যতা
এবং সাহাবীগণের উচ্চ মর্যাদার সপক্ষে এর
চেয়ে বড় প্রমাণ আর কি হতে পারে?” এ বলে
তিনি কালিমা পড়ে সঙ্গে সঙ্গে মুসলমান হয়ে যান।
অতঃপর পবিত্র লাশ দু’টিকে কফিনে রাখার পর উপস্থিত
জনতা তাঁদের জন্য আল্লাহর দরবারে দু’আ করেন।
এরপর আলেমগণ ও মন্ত্রীবর্গ কফিন দু’টো
কাঁধে উঠিয়ে নেন। কিছুদুর যাওয়ার পর বিভিন্ন
দেশের প্রতিনিধিবর্গ এবং সবশেষে বাদশাহ ফয়সাল
কাঁধ পেতে নেন। দীর্ঘ চার ঘন্টা পর চরম ভক্তি
ও শ্রদ্ধার সাথে পবিত্র লাশ দুটি সালমান পার্কে এসে
পৌঁছে। যে সৌভাগ্যবান লাশ দু’টিকে প্রথমে কফিনে
রেখেছিলেন, তারাই কফিন দু’টি নবনির্মিত কবরে
নামিয়ে রাখেন। আর এভাবেই জনতার আল্লাহু
আকবার ধ্বনির মধ্য দিয়ে ইসলামের এই মহান
সাহাবীদ্বয়কে পুনরায় মাটির কোলে শুইয়ে
দেওয়া হয়।

Though in normal cases and circumstances the
dead bodies in the grave decompose and
disintegrate yet there are proofs where the dead
bodies of martyrs, prophets and saints have been
found intact when their graves were dug.
In 1932 A.D. (1351 A.H.) the then ruling King of
Iraq Shah Faisal I, dreamt that he was being
addressed by Hudhaifa al-Yamani, who said :-
"O king ! Remove Jabir ibn Abdullah Ansari and
me from the bank of river Tigris and bury us at
some safe place because my grave is already
water-logged, (full of water) while Jabir's grave
is slowly getting water-logged."
This dream was repeated again the next night
but King Faisal I, did not pay attention to it on
account of his pre-occupation with state affairs.
On the third night Hazrat Hudhaifa was seen in
the dream by the grand M***i of Iraq. Hazrat
Hudhaifa said to the grand M***i :- "I have been
directing the king since two nights to transfer
our Bodies but he has not paid any heed. Tell
him emphatically to arrange for the transfer of
our graves!"
So after discussing this matter, the King, his
Prime Minister and the Grand M***i decided to
carry out this work. It was decided that the
Grand M***i should issue a fatwa(religious ruling)
on this matter and the Prime Minister will issue
the fatwa to the press, so that the public may
know about this great event. It was declared that
on 10th Zilhajj after noon prayers the graves
shall be opened and the holy bodies shall be
transferred to another place.
As it was Hajj season, pilgrims had gathered in
Mecca. They requested King Faisal to postpone
the event for a few days so that they all could
attend the event after performing the Hajj.
Hence, the King postponed this event to 20th
Zilhajj.
After noon prayers, on 20th Zilhajj 1351 A.H. a
large number of Muslims and non-Muslims
gathered in Baghdad, and the city was heavily
crowded. First when the grave of Hazrat
Hudhaifa was opened water was fond inside. The
body was lifted with a crane in such a way that it
safely came on a stretcher. Then the stretcher
was lifted by the King, the Grand M***i, the
Prime Minister and Prince Farooq of Egypt and
brought to a glass coffin box made especially to
keep the holy bodies. The body of Hazrat Jabir
was also transferred to the glass box in the
same scrupulous manner.
The most marvelous spectacle was now seen by
the huge crowd that had gathered to witness this
great event. Both the holy bodies of these true
companions of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) were
fresh and intact while their open eyes issued
forth such divine light that the spectator's eyes
were dazzled. Furthermore, their coffin, clothes,
kaffan were also intact and at first glance, it
appeared as if these heroes of Islam were alive.
The two bodies were then taken away and buried
afresh near the grave of another great hero of
Islam, Salman-e-Farsi, in Salman Park which is
30 miles from Baghdad. This miracle amazed the
scientists, philosophers and doctors. They were
all bewildered and spellbound to witness this
great miracle.
A German physiologist who had been showing a
lot of interest in this was so impressed by the
conditions of the bodies, which were buried for
more than a thousand years, that he immediately
came to the Grand M***i, held up his hands and
said, "What more evidence can there be in
support of Islam. I embrace Islam so teach me
about it!" Thus before thousands of people this
German doctor became a Muslim. His example
was followed by many Christians and Jews and
for a long time it continued in Baghdad and a
large number of people became Muslims as a
result of this miracle.
Now let us all sit-back and think over this event
and derive a lesson from this miracle. Pondering
over such events is potent food for the mind and
serves as an eye-opener to humanity. Some of

Let us now briefly look into the lives of these
prominent personalities.
HAZRAT HUDHAIFA AL YAMANI
He was one of the most trusted companions of
the Holy Prophet (SAWW). There are several
instances in history where Hazrat Hudhaifa has
proved steadfast in his loyalty to our Holy
Prophet (SAWW). Hazrat Hudhaifa had responded
to the Prophet's call in battle of Trench
(Khandak) when the Prophet had promised
Paradise to the person who would venture out to
the enemy's camp with the intention of spying
their activities. Hazrat Hudhaifa was known as
"the possessor of the Secret", since the Holy
Prophet (SAWW) had revealed to him the names
and specific identity of those hypocrites who
intended to kill him on his return journey from
Tabuk, but had strictly instructed him not to
disclose the secret. Hudhaifa was appointed
governor of Madain (which is a place near
Baghdad, Iraq) by Caliph Omar and held that post
