Whoever feeds a Muslim to their fill on the Day of Ashura will receive a reward as though they had fed the entire Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

Fasting on the Day of Ashura earns a reward equal to the deeds of the inhabitants of the seven heavens and the seven earths. It is recommended to fast on the 9th and 10th of Ashura.

Fazilat of the month of Muharram(Ashura)

Rasoole (ﷺ) has said :

"If any man observes the ten sawums( fastings by the law of Islam ) of Ashura in the month of Muharram , Allah Pak gives him the virtues of the weight of prayer of ten thousand angels . And if he keeps sawum (fasting ) only on the day of Ashura ,he has been given the virtues of the weight of the prayer of ten thousand martyrs and ten thousand hajis(pilgrims ) and the doers of Umrah ."
