This duʿāʾ is reported in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When any one of you finishes the last tashahhud (in prayer), let him seek refuge with Allah from four things…”
Then he would say:
“Allahumma inni a‘udhu bika min ‘adhabi al-qabr, wa min ‘adhabi jahannam, wa min fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat, wa min sharri fitnatil-masih ad-dajjal.”
Recite this in salah, especially:
•after the last tashahhud
•before saying salam (ending the prayer)
The Prophet ﷺ consistently recited this duʿāʾ and even instructed the companions to learn it — showing how serious these four dangers are.

It was part of the Prophet’s daily adhkār, meaning he recited it regularly.

This duʿāʾ is recited immediately after finishing the obligatory (farḍ) prayer.

After you end your ṣalāh with taslīm (saying “As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāh” to the right and left), you say:

“Allahumma anta as-Salām wa minkas-salām, tabārakta yā Dhā al-Jalāli wal-Ikrām.”

It is authentically reported in Sahih Muslim that the Prophet ﷺ used to say this right after completing the prayer.

This is an authentic Ruqyah (healing prayer) from Sahih Muslim (2186), taught by Angel Jibril to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) when he was ill. It seeks protection from all harm, evil souls, and envious eyes, asking Allah to heal.
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Jibril (Gabriel) came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "O Muhammad (ﷺ)! Do you feel sick?" He (ﷺ) said, "Yes." Jibril supplicated thus (i.e., he performed Ruqyah): "Bismillahi arqika, min kulli shay'in yu'dhika, min sharri kulli nafsin aw 'ayni hasidi, Allahu yashfika, bismillahi arqika.

This is the opening of the Istikhara dua, a supplication for guidance when making important decisions.
This is the starting of dua. The full, authenticated dua is recited after performing a two-rak'ah Sunnah prayer.
After the prayer, one should move forward with their decision, trusting in Allah's plan, rather than waiting for a specific dream.
This dua is found in Sahih al-Bukhari (1166)

(Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'ilmin la yanfa'u, wa qalbin la yakhsha'u, wa du'a'in la yasma'u, wa nafsin la tashba'u)

O Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge that is of no benefit, a heart that is not humble, a supplication that is not heard and a soul that is not satisfied.
This supplication is reported in Sunan Ibn Majah and Sunan An‑Nasa’i.
This duʿāʾ asks protection from four spiritual dangers:
Corrupted mind
Dead heart
Blocked connection
Restless soul
If a person is saved from these four, their faith, worship, and life become balanced.
This duʿāʾ teaches that the real danger is not lack of knowledge or wealth — but a heart disconnected from Allah.

Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way.

[Surah Al-Kahf:10]
