KWA | The ♥️ HEART of Worship | Rev. Dr Michael Battersby
We all know, especially if you’ve had a check-up with your doctor recently, that the heart is a very important organ. It determines the effectiveness of all our body getting blood and its life-sustaining resources.
To have a healthy heart, it requires exercise, sleep, a good diet and when necessary, appropriate medication and interventions.
To cultivate a healthy spiritual life, we will only be as strong as our heart of worship is. The different activities we engage in, the inputs we allow in our life and the way we manage our priorities, all contribute to our closeness with God and nothing is more important than being close to the source of life that flows through us – body, soul and spirit.
We’re made in the image of our creator, so let's bring our whole life before Him, yielded and willing to prioritise the things that keep us close to Him and ultimately become like Him.
The Heart of worship isn’t about songs, it’s about daily preferring God’s ways and a desire to further His Kingdom. Sounds like the answer for my 2026….How about you?
