"One of the most incredible encounters with life underwater is with a Giant Oceanic Manta Ray. Friendly, curious, harmless filter feeder, no stinger or teerh, intelligent, and very large!!!! This one was around 12-13 feet, or 4 meters. Small manta.
This one was at Roca Partida in Socorro. Socorro islands are one of the best places to swim with these gentle giants. In all depths...as you can see as this one followed us up to our 15 foot safety stop after swimming with us for 40 min!!!!

This is a mass migration of cownose rays, they have been seen migrating in groups of up to 10,000 rays ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

The female cownose ray will only produce one pup at a time.
They are ovoviviparous, whicb means that the eggs, are hatched within the body of the parent.
