"Hey Everyone! I’m James and I graduated from commerce last semester and am currently undertaking an internship with Christian Union. I attended NTE last year, which was my only time, but honestly, I wished I had attended it multiple times throughout my years at university because it was such an amazing experience.

My experience with NTE was amazing. When I first heard of it, I was a little took back when I heard Christians from university campuses all throughout Australia were coming together to a 5-day conference. Only until I was there in Canberra, seeing the thousands of people together, whether it was eating together, singing together, or listening to the talks together, I understood the amazing work God was doing throughout Australia, and throughout universities throughout.
There were so many good parts of NTE, but I think my favourite part was studying the word in our strand groups throughout the 5 days. The content was so in depth and learning about God through his word and being able to discuss with others in our groups was such a memorable experience. Also being able to study the word with others from other universities is not something I would usually get to experience. The conversations and the banter we had with each other was so good.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to gather together in Canberra due to COVID (but maybe next year?). However, we still have an online conference being held by Melbourne University Christian Union. We’ll be exploring the GLORY OF GOD, so I hope to see you there!"

"Hi everyone! I'm Luke and I attended NTE last year alongside other members of the unimelb CU. NTE was a fantastic
opporuntity for me to grow as a Christian and make new friends from all around Australia.
Throughout the week of NTE we learnt to read and analyse the bible in a coherant and informative way from experienced
leaders. With the skills I picked up there I was well equipped to do an NTE mission afterwards and serve Christ by
unpacking the bible with other people and spreading the gospel. I am excitedly looking forward to NTE this year and
hope to see you there to."

"Hi everyone I'm Neth πŸ‘‹ I was sort of 'talked into' going to my first NTE last year and, needless to say, it was a wonderful and eye-opening experience. Singing praises to our Lord alongside 1800 other uni students who are passionate for God was just a tiny glimpse of what heaven would look like - though I imagine lunch queues would be shorter. I loved my strand group and every single person in it (pic 2) - we come from all over the world and yet are united through Christ's love and the mercy He has shown us by calling us to Him. Most importantly, God used NTE to open my eyes to the importance and magnificence of expository preaching, and the errors of the 'life-enhancing' prosperity 'gospel' I had grew up with. What God ordains is always good - how true that is. Though physically alive, we were all spiritually dead until Jesus gave us life by His ressurection, bearing God's wrath that we justly deserve. Praise Him forever!!!"

"Hi, I'm Grace and I attended NTE for the first time last year! I am grateful that God has used this experience to grow me in my knowledge and love for Jesus. It was so uplifting to see brothers and sisters across Australia being united in Christ and encountering God together through His word. We unpacked challenging passages together in strand groups, bonded over mealtimes, sang together in worship, and saw how God has been working in the hearts of many in global missions. Although we may not be able to gather face-to-face, I highly encourage everyone to attend NTE online as it will be a just as rewarding experience!"

"When I first heard of NTE, it surprised me that there are a lot more uni students all across the nation worshipping Jesus on campus - just like us.

NTE is the annual National Training Event, where THOUSANDS of Christians from around the GLOBE would go to Canberra for a 5-day conference. It would be the event of the year that I most look forward to. Obviously, this year the conference would look different, it will be held virtually. However, it would still be the most anticipated event of the year.

Through the preaching, teaching and fellowship, I was taught how to read the Bible for myself. And through reading the Bible, it made me realise there is so much more about our God that I didn't know. And I can't help but share what I have learnt, encouraging other Christians in their faith journey as well!

Going to NTE is a great start to knowing more about our God, and what He has done for us! Hope to CU all there πŸ˜‰"
