Pastor Greg shares from Luke 5:1-11, specifically focusing on the disciples' response to the calling of Jesus to leave their nets to follow Him. The words "immediately" and "they left everything" can appear to sound impressive or even impulsive or irresponsible. However, this passage of Scripture is not their first encounter with Jesus, but it is a decisive encounter to surrender all to follow Jesus.
Before they left their nets, there had been a journey where they had heard about Him, spent time with Him, witnessed His teaching and power in Cana, and where Peter had already experienced personal grace in his own household through the healing of his mother-in-law.
The question for us today is, have we encountered Him? And if so, are we fully surrendered to hear and respond to His calling in our lives?

Pastor Greg introduces our 2026 church theme of "Live Like Jesus", inviting us to commit to a daily grace-filled movement towards Christlikeness.
Based on 1 John 2:6 - "Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did". The invitation is to Live Like Jesus in RELATIONSHIP with God and One Another and to Live Like Jesus ON MISSION with purpose and for others.
As we do this, we will abide in Christ more deeply, walk in love with one another more sincerely and live on mission, sent by Jesus to share the good news of the Gospel of Salvation through word and deed.

Pastor Greg unpacks Ephesians 3:14-21, highlighting the limitless expanse of God's love, irrespective of our past, our failures and our regrets. What Paul prays for the Ephesian church, we can take ahold of as well - that God the Father would grant each of us, His wisdom and revelation to grasp how wide and long and high and deep the love of Christ is.

Pastor Grant shares an inspiring message on “The Power of Peace” from Revelation 21:3-4. As a result of tragedies and difficult challenges in our lives, it is so easy to build up walls to help prevent future heartbreak from occurring.
We live in a world where we are constantly challenged by forces of evil, yet in the midst of that, Jesus gives us His peace to overcome. The reality of Christ living in us, gives us a peace that is not fragile and weak, but powerful for pulling down strongholds. His peace (Shalom) is one that invites us into a life, wholly unified with God and others.
His promise is that he will return to establish His presence forever where as His followers, we will experience eternal peace, living in the presence of God.

Pastor Greg shared how the missing peace we experience in our lives is peace with God our creator.
Our peace with God came at a cost. He sent His son Jesus to restore our peace with Him - a peace that brings wholeness, harmony and completeness.

Pastor Greg challenged us to join the Family business. He spoke from John 9:1–7 where we see that when Jesus speaks, healing comes. The blind man wasn’t suffering because of his own, or his parent’s sin, but to display the works of God!
Jesus is still in the business of opening physical & spiritual eyes The greatest healing being salvation—hearts awakened to believe in Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus’ word brings freedom & deliverance.
As we join with Jesus in the work of God, we’re reminded from Mark 16:15–18 to step out not in self-confidence but full confidence in our Lord.
So, let's join the family business—display the works of God as we speak Jesus, carry His healing balm, and let His Spirit do what only He can do.

Speaker Grant Spangenberg brought a challenging message from Matthew 25:31–46 – Grant shared Theodore Wedels – ‘The Life-saving Station’ parable reminded us to guard against losing our purpose. We, the Church, are called to be a dynamic, life-saving community where God’s love is actively lived out. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, meets us in the hungry, the struggling and the lonely, he invites us into simple acts of love toward others, ultimately revealing his love and care for all. May we choose compassion, service, and genuine connection, that God’s love be seen in how we embody Christ’s heart in our community and beyond.

We remember the fallen – those who sacrificed their tomorrows for our todays. We remember those families grieving the loss of loved ones, and pray for their comfort. We remember all who served in the past, and those still serving. We join with others worldwide & pray for peace, in our homes, our communities, our nation and worldwide.
