God cannot be rationalized—to try is to fail. There are mysteries about God that we will never understand in this life. We should not think it strange that it is impossible to comprehend God intellectually, when it is equally impossible to explain many mysteries in the realm of matter. Who can fathom the law of gravity? Newton discovered it, but he could not explain it.
There are many arguments we could marshal to give evidence of the existence of God. We see objects that have no intellect, such as stars and planets, moving in a consistent pattern, cooperating with one another. Hence, it is evident that they achieve their movements not by accident, but by design. If God can be fully proved by the human mind, then He is no greater than the mind that proves Him. Cry out to God, “Lord … help my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24). There is only one God, and He wants everyone to come to Him and be saved. (B.Graham)

You were created in the image and likeness of God. You were made for God’s fellowship, and your heart can never be satisfied without His communion. Just as iron is attracted to a magnet, the soul in its state of hunger is drawn to God. Though you, like thousands of others, may feel in the state of sin that the world is more alluring and more to your liking, some day—perhaps even now as you read these words—you will acknowledge that there is something deep down inside you which cannot be satisfied by the alloy of earth. Then with David, the Psalmist who had sampled the delicacies of sin and had found them unsatisfying, you will say, “Oh God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.”

There’s a beautiful passage in the book of Psalms : “For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness” (Psalm 107:9, NKJV).
It’s such a simple sentence, but it encompasses all that mankind has been seeking for millennia. It is God who fills us up. He is the One who refreshes our soul and dwells in our innermost self, meeting those needs and desires that seem to be so elusive. We hunger for Him, and He alone satisfies.

We see His goodness in Zephaniah 3:17 ” The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” This beautiful time with the Lord is what the enemy wants to steal from you. How can you stay in this place of perfect peace? A place where you have lasting joy, no matter your situation? The answer is simply by putting your focus on Him : Jesus always.

Jesus is not only the Deliverer, He is the Provider. Just as God had provided daily manna from Heaven to the children of Israel on their wilderness journey, so Jesus provides for the soul-hunger of people today. He was born in Bethlehem, which literally means “house of bread,” and proclaimed, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever” (John 6:51).

It is wonderful to search Scripture and learn the names of God who calls Himself “I Am.” “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12). As Jesus walked the Bible lands, He proclaimed, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved” (John 10:9). “I am the good shepherd” (John 10:11).

Why would anyone resist the opportunity to be fed by God the Deliverer, the Sustainer, the Provider and the Protector? Call to Him today and be saved.

God loves us and knows what is best for us, and He wants to show it to us. In fact, when we come to Christ, God Himself comes to live within us by His Holy Spirit—and one reason is so He can guide us. The Bible promises, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go” (Psalm 32:8).

The real question, however, is this: What is God telling you to do? The answer is clear: He wants you to commit your life to Jesus Christ. By a simple prayer of faith ask Him to come into your heart and life today.

There’s a “God-shaped hole” inside each of us. It’s that space that many people try to fill with wealth, possessions, s*x, drugs, alcohol, or work. They search for their purpose or significance, but do so in vain.The problem is, the things of this world are fleeting, they’re broken, and they’ll eventually let you down. Money and belongings can be ripped away from you in a moment. Relationships falter. Drugs and alcohol wear off and leave you right back where you were, or worse.

It’s such a simple sentence, but it encompasses all that mankind has been seeking for millennia. It is God who fills us up. He is the One who refreshes our soul and dwells in our innermost self, meeting those needs and desires that seem to be so elusive. We hunger for Him, and He alone satisfies.

What fills you? Are you consumed with bitterness and anger? Do you feel like you’ve gotten a raw deal in life? Are you chasing the things of this world to fill an emptiness in your soul? Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? If so, I’d encourage you to seek God and the goodness that He brings. Rather than being consumed with the temporary and broken, you could be filled with the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).Draw close to God, let Him satisfy your longing and hungry soul, and you’ll truly have something to celebrate.
