Ignite Training Conference

Our mission is to build the church in Brisbane by training disciples to make disciples.

ITC belongs to the family of QCCA conferences, and is modelled after KCC’s NextGen Conference. The conference is about igniting your head and heart with challenging, Jesus-centred Bible-teaching, singing, prayer, and fellowship, and training you to read and teach the Bible through the lens of the Gospel. ITC also gives you the opportunity to meet and grow with Christians from all over Brisbane for 5 whole days.

We are just over half way through ignite training conference for 2026 and we’ve been so encouraged through God’s Word and warm fellowship. Keep praying for our delegates as we finish our final two days 🙏🏼

Here's the reality - it's challenging to keep our hearts on fire for Jesus Christ.

Amidst the busyness of day to day and the challenges of life, we can resort to just trying the latest bible hack or method someone told us to kickstart our spiritual lives, but often times the results don’t last. How can we see real deep heart transformation that keeps our gospel passion burning?

Perhaps the answer is simpler than we think. Perhaps we’ve simply forgotten to stop, behold our God and bask in the outrageous grace that God has shown us in Jesus Christ.

David Walter serves Jesus amongst university students across the South Pacific, with IFES, and also coaches leaders with AFES. He says that his two best decisions were accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour when he was 6 years old, and asking Cathy to marry him a number of years later. The fact that they both accepted him, David counts as incredible works of grace.
