Fleeing from God’s call.

Imagine what Jonah was trying to do? Trying to go 5 times the distance away from where God had sent him.

How are we Jonahs of today? Not everyone may be called to pulpit ministry but we are called to God’s work one way or the other.

Sometimes we are fleeing from touching the lives God want us to by the way we are living our daily lives, the small talks we have on others and various ways we bring others down.

Sometimes it is also through not fulfilling what God is prompting us to do.

The a quarter of the energy we use to bring others down will go a long way when channelled to a positive cause.

It’s my prayer that we repent from the Jonah attribute in us and respond to God’s call.

Bretheren, it shouldnt take getting thrown into the sea and being swallowed by a fish for us to fulfil what God is prompting us to do.
