REMEMBER THE 7TH DAY SABBATH TODAY!
Scripture for Today!
“4 For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, “God rested on the seventh day from all his works;” 5 and in this place again, “They will not enter into my rest.” – Hebrews 4: 4 – 5 (WMB)
Today’s Scripture reiterates the IMPORTANCE of KEEPING THE LORD’S 7TH DAY SABBATH in order to ENTER INTO HIS REST.
ELOHIM specifically SET APART, BLESSED AND MADE THE 7TH DAY HOLY IN THE BEGINNING, well before there was a Hebrew, Israelite, Jew or Sabbath Day Observer or Religion in the WORLD.
THE LORD’S 7TH DAY SABBATH IS FOR ALL MANKIND.
THE “SABBATH DAY” IS THE ONLY DAY ELOHIM NAMED.
ALL the other DAYS – Monday to Sunday were named by MEN after their PAGAN GODS.
THE SABBATH DAY IS THE ONLY DAY ELOHIM WILL BE WORSHIPED IN THE NEW HEAVENS AND NEW EARTH.
UNBELIEF AND DISOBEDIENCE!
Hebrews 4: 1 – 13 speaks about The LORD’S SABBATH DAY REST.
It clearly denotes that THERE REMAINS A SABBATH DAY REST FOR THE PEOPLE OF ELOHIM who will REMEMBER HIS SABBATH DAY to KEEP IT HOLY.
This Scripture WARNS OF THE DANGER of unbelief and DISOBEDIENCE and reflects on Psalms 95 – Israel’s failure to enter ELOHIM’S REST because of unbelief and disobedience in the WILDERNESS.
The CENTRAL MESSAGE is both a PROMISE and a WARNING:
1. A PROMISE of entering into ELOHIM’S REST
2. A WARNING against UNBELIEF AND DISOBEDIENCE to HIS SABBATH COMMAND.
The message invites ALL BELIEVERS, irrespective of race, religion, gender or creed not to be complacent about false teachings and doctrines of men that have corrupted THE WORD – whereby presuming Elohim’s Grace and Lovingkindness whilst still living in unbelief and disobedience to ELOHIM’S VOICE AND COMMANDMENTS.
REMEMBER THESE 2 THINGS:
1. ALL OF ELOHIM’S WORDS ARE TRUTH (Psalms 119: 160)
2. ALL OF HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE TRUTH (Psalms 119: 151)
ELOHIM’S 4TH COMMANDMENT:
It is written:
“8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 You shall labor six days, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. You shall not do any work in it, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; 11 for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and made it holy.”
– Exodus 20: 8 – 11 (WMB).
ALL BELIEVERS are called to persevere in FAITH and OBEDIENCE TO ELOHIM’S VOICE AND COMMANDMENTS.
ALL ARE URGED TO GIVE DILIGENCE TO REST AND KEEP THE 7TH DAY SABBATH HOLY IN ORDER TO ENTER INTO ELOHIM’S REST AND ETERNAL LIFE.
THE SABBATH DAY IS ALSO FOR FOREIGNERS:
It is written:
“1 The LORD says:
“Maintain justice
and do what is right,
for my salvation [yeshuah-ti] is near
and my righteousness will soon be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this,
and the son of man who holds it fast;
who keeps the Sabbath without profaning it
and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
“6 Also the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD
to serve him,
and to love the LORD’s name,
to be his servants,
everyone who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it,
and holds fast my covenant,
7 I will bring these to my holy mountain,
and make them joyful in my house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar;
for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
8 The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says,
“I will yet gather others to him,
in addition to his own who are gathered.” – Isaiah 56: 1 – 2; 6 – 8 (WMB)
THE WILDERNESS!
Hebrews 4: 1 – 13 reflects on the multitudes ways of unbelief and disobedience in the WILDERNESS and how they DID NOT ENTER THE PROMISED LAND.
It was a physical journey exemplified and personified for our SPIRITUAL JOURNEY in our WILDERNESS we are living in TODAY!
We who have been delivered from SIN (EGYPT) by our DELEIVERER (YESHUA HAMASHIACH) are in the WILDERNESS (THIS WORLD), where we are being HUMBLED AND TAUGHT BY ELOHIM so that we may FEAR HIM, FOLLOW HIS WAYS AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS in order to ENTER INTO THE PROMISED LAND (ETERNAL LIFE) – ENTER INTO HIS REST!
REMEMBER!
ELOHIM is NOT AN IDOL.
ELOHIM is NOT A MAN that HE looks at the outward appearance of a person.
ELOHIM IS SPIRIT AND HE LOOKS AT AND TESTS THE HEART.
NO ONE IS HIDDEN FROM HIS SIGHT. ALL THINGS ARE NAKED AND LAID OPEN BEFORE HIS EYES.
HE HAS EYES EVERYWHERE SO ONE CAN RUN BUT CANNOT HIDE FROM HIM.
HEAR ELOHIM’S WORD!
It is written in Hebrews 4: 1 – 13 (WMB):
“1 Let’s fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest. 2 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard.
3 For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest;” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he has said this somewhere about the seventh day, “God rested on the seventh day from all his works;”
5 and in this place again, “They will not enter into my rest.”
6 Seeing therefore it remains that some should enter into it, and they to whom the good news was preached before failed to enter in because of disobedience, 7 he again defines a certain day, “today”, saying through David so long a time afterward (just as has been said),
“Today if you will hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts.”
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have spoken afterward of another day. 9 There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
11 Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience. 12 For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 There is no creature that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.”

TURN AWAY FROM THE FALSE MESSIAH – WHITE, GOOD-LOOKING, “JESUS CHRIST” MASQUERADING AS “THE ANGEL OF LIGHT”.

RETURN TO THE WAY – THE ORIGINAL ASSEMBLY OF BELIEVERS OF YESHUA HAMASHIACH DURING THE 1ST CENTURY.
RETURN TO THE TRUTH – THE TEACHINGS AND DOCTRINES OF YESHUA HAMASHIACH (THE TRUE SIN – BEARING JEWISH MESSIAH WITH NO GOOD LOOKS, NO MAJESTY AND NO BEAUTY THAT WE SHOULD DESIRE HIM).
THE TRUE SIN BEARING JEWISH MESSIAH!
The TRUE MESSIAH – YESHUA HAMASHIACH is depicted in Isaiah 11: 1 – 5,
Isaiah 53: 1 – 5, Isaiah 12: 1 – 6, Yochanan 14: 6 – 7, Psalms 91: 14 – 16 and
Isaiah 56: 1 – 2 (WMB):
“1 A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse,
and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.
2 The LORD’s Spirit will rest on him:
the spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the spirit of counsel and might,
the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
3 His delight will be in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by the sight of his eyes,
neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
4 but he will judge the poor with righteousness,
and decide with equity for the humble of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth;
and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.
5 Righteousness will be the belt around his waist,
and faithfulness the belt around his waist.” – Isaiah 11: 1 – 5 (WMB)
“1 Who has believed our message?
To whom has the LORD’s arm been revealed?
2 For he grew up before him as a tender plant,
and as a root out of dry ground.
He has no good looks or majesty.
When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He was despised
and rejected by men,
a man of suffering
and acquainted with disease.
He was despised as one from whom men hide their face;
and we didn’t respect him.
4 Surely he has borne our sickness
and carried our suffering;
yet we considered him plagued,
struck by God, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions.
He was crushed for our iniquities.
The punishment that brought our peace was on him;

“1 In that day you will say, “I will give thanks to you, the LORD; for though you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you comfort me. 2 Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD, the LORD, is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation [yeshu`ah].” 3 Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of salvation [yeshu`ah]. 4 In that day you will say, “Give thanks to the LORD! Call on his name! Declare his doings among the peoples! Proclaim that his name is exalted! 5 Sing to the LORD, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth! 6 Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is great among you!” – Isaiah 12:1 – 6 (WMB)
“6 Yeshua said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.” – Yochanan 14: 6 – 7 (WMB)
“14 “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him.
I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him.
I will be with him in trouble.
I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 I will satisfy him with long life,
and show him my salvation [yeshuah-ti].” – Psalms 91: 14 – 16 (WMB)
“1 The LORD says:
“Maintain justice

REMEMBER THIS!
When Yeshua came into this world, the world DID NOT RECOGNISE HIM.
He came into His own and even His own DID NOT RECEIVE HIM.
It is written in Yochanan 1: 10 – 13 (WMB):
“10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him. 11 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him. 12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
THE NEW HEAVENS AND NEW EARTH:
The main reason why the 4th Commandment is the ONLY COMMANDMENT that commences with “REMEMBER” is that THE SABBATH DAY is THE ONLY DAY ELOHIM NAMED, BLESSED AND MADE HOLY and it is THE ONLY DAY HIS CHILDREN AND HOLY ONES WORSHIP HIM IN THE NEW HEAVENS AND EARTH as it is written in
Isaiah 66: 22 – 24 (WMB):
“22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me,” says the LORD, “so your offspring and your name shall remain.
23 It shall happen that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before me,” says the LORD.
24 “They will go out, and look at the dead bodies of the men who have transgressed against me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
Those who FEAR ELOHIM AND KEEP HIS 7TH DAY SABBATH DAY will worship HIM in The New Heavens and New Earth on THE SABBATH DAY.
On the other hand, those who TRANSGRESS HIS COMMANDMENTS and DO NOT KEEP THE 7TH DAY SABBATH, will be CAST OUT from The New Heavens and Earth into Gehinnom where their worms will not die nor their fire be quenched.
BEFORE YESHUA COMES:
Yeshua still clarifies the IMPORTANCE of KEEPING AND DOING ELOHIM’S COMMANDMENTS as it is written in Revelation 22: 10 – 15 (WMB):
“10 He said to me, “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. 11 He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.”
“12 “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.
13 I am the Alef and the Tav, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
15 Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.”
Yeshua had died and rose from the dead and BEFORE HE COMES to RULE in The New Heavens and Earth, He DID NOT SAY what Christians teach and believe:
- You are ALL SAVED BY GRACE
- The Commandments have been NAILED TO THE CROSS
- The Commandments have been DONE AWAY WITH
- You don’t have to do THE WORKS
DISCIPLES KEPT THE COMMANDMENTS AFTER YESHUA DIED:
It is written:
“50 Behold, there was a man named Joseph, who was a member of the council, a good and righteous man 51 (he had not consented to their counsel and deed), from Arimathaea, a city of the Judeans, who was also waiting for God’s Kingdom. 52 This man went to Pilate, and asked for Yeshua’s body. 53 He took it down and wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb that was cut in stone, where no one had ever been laid. 54 It was the day of the Preparation, and the Sabbath was drawing near. 55 The women who had come with him out of Galilee followed after, and saw the tomb and how his body was laid. 56 They returned and prepared spices and ointments.
On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.” – Luke 23: 50 – 56 (WMB)
YESHUA WHO HAD RISEN SAYS BEFORE HE COMES:
“12 “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.
13 I am the Alef and the Tav, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.”
Those who will be CAST OUT from His Kingdom are those who TRANSGRESS ELOHIM’S COMMANDMENTS which include:
- The Dogs,
- The Sorcerers,
- The Sexually Immoral,
- The murderers,
- The idolaters,
- Everyone who Loves and Practices Falsehood.
THIS IS THE CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER WHICH IS THE DUTY OF ALL MANKIND:
1. FEAR ELOHIM
2. KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS
It is written:
“13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all.
14 For God will bring every work into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.” – Ecclesiastes 12: 13 – 14 (WMB)
THESE ARE THE HOLY ONES AND HIS CHILDREN:
It is written:
“9 The LORD will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and walk in his ways.”
– Deuteronomy 28: 9 (WMB)
It is written:
“17 The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep God’s commandments and hold Yeshua’s testimony.”
– Revelation 12: 17 (WMB)
It is written:
“12 Here is the perseverance of the holy ones, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Yeshua.” – Revelation 14: 12 (WMB)
TODAY, if you hear His voice, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS.
Humble yourselves, Fear Elohim, KEEP His Covenant and REMEMBER His COMMANDMENTS to do them;
Love Elohim and Love Your Neighbour, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you all this glorious day that He has made.
Rejoice and be glad in Him.
REMEMBER!
