Thank you to the wonderful Harris Park community who supported our big celebration of St Oliver's 50th anniversary of canonisation. It was a successful day in every way, capped by a special Mass honouring our patron Saint and concelebrated by Bishop Vincent Long, who shared the day with many parishioners. Our thanks also to the many elected representatives who dropped in and did some shopping today - Donna Davis MP, Julia Finn MP, Clr Patricia Prociv and Clr Michael Ng.Thank you especially to the dozens of volunteers who cooked, sold and generally made it all happen and our wonderful school principal Pascale Rone and her dedicated staff. Absolute legends, the lot of you!

Join us today (Saturday) as we bake and serve hot, fresh food at St Oliver's Harris Park.

In the morning, we'll have three types of manouches - zaa'tar, fetta cheese and mozzarella cheese - and spinach triangles. We'll also have our ever-popular sausage sizzle.

From lunchtime, we will be char-grilling chicken and kafta, and selling them in wraps (Lebanese bread) with your choice of salad and sauces. We'll also have delicious falafel wraps if you'd like a vegetarian option.

All food is reasonably priced and made with love and care by our wonderful and expert volunteer cooks. Proceeds go to our community parish.
