Thank you EVERYBODY for making our celebration of St Oliver Plunket's feast such a resounding success. From the wonderful volunteers who worked since yesterday preparing food and then backing up from 6am today to set up and cook like a well-oiled production line... to our dedicated sellers who stood all morning serving hundreds... to the generous people who donated cakes and other sweets for sale... to those who couldn't be there but sent cash donations... and of course the fabulous St Oliver's parish community, a proud example of Parramatta's diverse Catholic society who turned out in droves to enjoy food made with love. Together we raised over $6,000 but it's not about the money. It's about seeing great friends and a beautiful community come together to share each other's company in the name of our patron Saint. I couldn't be more proud.

Our wonderful volunteers are up late preparing for St Oliver's annual bake day.

Join us from 7.30am to midday on Sunday 5 July as these dedicated bake delicious manoush za'tar, cheese pizzas, saj bread and spinach triangles.

There will also be a barista from 8.30am selling cappuccinos, lattes or whatever coffee order you like for just $3.

It's always a great festive atmosphere. Join us at 33 Wigram St Harris Park.

We've had a few people ask about ordering saj bread at the St Oliver's Bake Day on Sunday 5 July.

Each piece of circular flatbread is about half a metre in diameter and costs $2 each. We'll be selling bags with five pieces (folded) for $10. If you'd like a bag, please DM us.

Join us from 7:30am to midday on Sunday 5 July in the school playground of St Oliver's Harris Park.

Our wonderful volunteers will be baking delicious spinach triangles, cheese pies and zaa'tar manouches all morning and there will be home-made cakes, biscuits and drinks for sale.

This is always a joyous day as the parish community comes together. All proceeds will help support our parish works.

The annual ST OLIVER'S BAKE DAY is back on!!

Join us from 7:30am to midday on Sunday 5 July for the annual St Oliver's Bake Day in the school playground in Harris Park.

Our wonderful volunteers will be baking delicious spinach triangles, cheese pies and zaa'tar manouches all morning and there will be home-made cakes, biscuits and drinks for sale.

This year, we will also be selling 'saj' bread for the first time.

This is always a joyous day as the parish community comes together.

All proceeds will help support our parish works.

Congratulations to Truong Tho (Paul) Tran who was ordained a Deacon on Saturday 25 April, joining his fellow Seminarians Luke Huynh and Jeff Hood who also joined the Diaconite. Paul's parents watched via a livestream, while his Australian 'family' filled rhe parish of St Nicholas of Myra in Penrith.
