Westside Village Church

Westside Village Church Lifeway Westside meets the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month at 4:15pm. You don’t have to believe what we do to belong.

We encourage questions and doubts and ask you to doubt your doubts. WE ARE A NEW CHURCH COMMUNITY IN WESTERN SYDNEY - A CHURCH FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T GO TO CHURCH, A CHURCH FOR PEOPLE WITH QUESTIONS. We imagine a church (of regular people from all walks of life) who share life with each other, who openly (with no judgement, no strings attached) practice hospitality, and who help each other grow to make the world a little more like Heaven.

Over this coming Holy Week period we will be joining the St Paul's congregation for a traditional Good Friday Service at 9am (on Friday)

and then we will be gathering on Sunday for Westside Village at 4:15pm to talk about how the "done' of Good Friday was "applied" at the empty tomb as we celebrate Resurrection Sunday.

Join us at "Paul's Place' (St Paul's Lutheran Church) 22 Milham Street , St Mary's for both.

“Let Him die in disgrace. His friends are scattered, His honor broken, His name a laughingstock. He has been forsaken by His God. Left absolutely alone. Drive Him out of the holy city and across the tracks where His kind belong. The ragamuffin Christ is roughly handled, pushed around, scourged and spat upon, murdered and buried among His own ilk.”

In his book “The Ragamuffin Gospel” Brennan Manning uses the word “Ragamuffin” where we used the word “Feral” on Sunday.

He was called a glutton, a drunkard, a friend of loses, misfits, and weirdos (the ferals).

He wore it is a badge of honour and saw it as a righteous calling, he came for the ferals!

This Sunday's topic is "Feasting with Ferals!"
Join us as we continue talking about our Spiritual Practices of B.L.E.S.S.
So far we have discovered the B is for the practice of Blessing others, the L is if Love as our default, and this week we will find out what the E stands for.

We’re excited to let you know that our church has relocated! Starting this month, we will be meeting at 40 Ballybunnion Terrace, Glenmore Park NSW 2745 on the first and third Sunday of each month at 10:30 AM.
We’d love for you to join us as we continue to grow in faith, fellowship, and community. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, we look forward to seeing you there!
