With Shavuot just around the corner, now is a perfect time to revisit the story of the Ten Commandments.

More than 3,000 years ago, G-d gave the Torah and the Ten Commandments to Moses and the Jews at Mount Sinai.

Also referred to as Aseret Hadibrot, these ten utterances are written by G-d Himself, and they serve as the foundation for the total 613 Commandments listed in the Torah.

While you will hear a reading of the Ten Commandments on the first day of Shavuot, now is a wonderful time to explore the commandments more deeply, and reflect on how you follow them.
