What an amazing time at the Sydney Prayer Breakfast with the RBC crew! It was a privilege to join with believers from across our city, praying for Sydney, its leaders, churches, and communities. Grateful for the opportunity to stand together in faith and seek God's blessing and guidance for our city

Missions is not about ‘What can I spare?’ The question is ‘What’s it going to take?’ Risk. Abandon. Sacrifice. Radical dependence on Christ. Everything. Are you passionately committed to God’s glory among all peoples?

Missions is not an addition to life—it is the surrender of life.
Not comfort. Not convenience. Not holding back.

But a life fully yielded to Christ for the sake of His glory among all peoples.

“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” — Luke 9:23

MORNING TEA WITH AN INTERNATIONAL FLAIR
It was beautiful to see people coming together to share food, stories, laughter, and friendship as we celebrated the rich cultures within our community and supported May Mission Month together.

Thank you to everyone who baked, cooked, donated, organised, and attended. From sweet treats to savoury favourites, every dish reflected the generosity and spirit of our wonderful, warm community!

“I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me…” — Acts 20:24
The will of God – nothing less, nothing more, nothing else.

Mission is not part of the Christian life—it is the focus of it.
Not our plans. Not our comfort. Not our preference.
Only His will, fully embraced and faithfully carried out.

“We never know how God will answer our prayers, but we can expect that He will get us involved in His plan for the answer.”

“Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” — Isaiah 6:8

True intercession doesn’t end at “Amen.”
It stays open—ready to move, ready to serve, ready to be part of the answer we have been praying for.

This Mission Month, don’t just pray for the world… make yourself available to be sent into it.

Remember, when you see a missionary coming home broken in body and weary in soul, it isn’t the privations or dangers or things he’s done that leave a deep hurt; it’s the things he couldn’t do that break his heart.

There is a kind of holy sorrow that comes from love — not only for what was suffered, but for what was still out of reach.

Jesus Himself wept over a city He longed to gather.
And those who serve Him often carry a similar ache.

Pray for the weary. Pray for the burdened. Pray for those who have poured themselves out in love.

“As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it…” Luke 19:41

This Sunday - Welcoming Pastors John & Jenn Kennedy

We’re delighted to welcome our Joshua Generation mission partners, Pastors John and Jenn Kennedy, with us this Sunday. Pastor John will be preaching from Daniel 3 as we continue our May Mission Month series, Loving Our City.

Join us as we hear inspiring stories of God at work, are encouraged in faith, and grow together in God’s heart for mission.

Clarity doesn’t always come before the step—it often comes through it.
Obedience sharpens vision. Trust unlocks direction.
Move forward in what He’s already shown you.
