As we get ready for the opening FIFA World Cup match tomorrow, we had our own FIFA day at Playtime!! We had fans of teams from all around the world, including Serbia, Colombia, Thailand, Italy England, Uruguay, India, Poland, Brazil, Korea, Nepal, Bangladesh, Japan, China and Australia. I'm not sure all those countries have teams in the World Cup, but we certainly are an intercultural playgroup! We used our new soccer goals; our warm up dance had us ready for our Team Song (Goal!), and then we read a story about Maise Playing Soccer.

Join us as we watch Turkey play Australia on the big screen at the church on Sunday afternoon, 2pm.

Playtime exploded today when the Fire Truck came to play!

It was a steady stream of kids and carers walking across the footbridge to listen and learn about fire safety. We got to check out some of the safety gear with Fireman Sam (yes, it’s his real name!) before they got the call out to an emergency and had to leave. Massive thank you to the crew at Arncliffe Fire and Rescue for taking time to introduce yourselves and help our little ones know about some of the people in our community who help us.
