Feast of Saint Makarios of Egypt.

On behalf of all the youth of NSW, we would like to wish His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia a Happy Name Day!

We celebrate the ministry of our beloved shepherd who tirelessly dedicates himself to the spiritual guidance and the well-being of all the faithful in the Fifth Continent. His Eminence Archbishop Makarios embodies the virtues of love, humility and steadfast faith, and is an inspiration to us all to grow closer to Christ.

We pray that through the prayers and intercessions of Saint Makarios, God grants His Eminence many more blessed years of health, wisdom and strength to continue his work for God’s Glory and the enrichment of our Holy Archdiocese of Australia.
We thank you, Your Eminence for your unwavering dedication to the youth and your efforts to unite the Orthodox faithful. You are a true example of Christ’s love in action and we are grateful for your unwavering and dedicated leadership.

May the Lord give him many years of blessed service in the Lord’s vineyard!

We are honoured to have His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Miletoupolis as our speaker for the night, to explore the topic ‘NOT TOO YOUNG TO BE HOLY’.

This is a highly relevant topic for young Christians, and not one to be missed!!

We are so excited to bring you yet another Taverna Night as we come together to celebrate the Feast of the Resurrection! Taking place the week after Bright Week, we hope you can join us for the perfect opportunity to gather as a youth community and rejoice in the Resurrection of Christ. Our last KOY Taverna Night was a sell out, so you won’t want to miss this one!

Fundraising Event for Elpis Foundation

The event which will feature a musical concert by the renowned overseas Greek-Cypriot performer, Stephanos PELEKANIS and will be held at the Belmore All Saints Grammer Primary School on Sunday 16 February 2025.

In order to attend and show your support for this important cause, a small donation will be required.
